Man, back in the day, i remember seeing loudness blowing motley crue off the stage! Of course back then minoru Niihara was the singer. Still, mike kicks ass hes got an amazing voice. Akira is a guitar god
Great song and the drummer is an animal. He is awesome. Singing is also great and Akira... Well, he is in the league of Warren DeMartini, George Lynch and the other elite ones.
I'm breakin' out I gotta know What it's all about Hey Babe There ain't no way I'm gonna lose you. I got your love In my blood tonight And I'm so far gone I can't see the light Oh yea The pressure's on And I'm cruisin'. Baby take me back Where I belong Take me back before The night is gone... No I can't escape The thunder Of your burning Wings of love Take me down and Love me Baby Slow and easy! You shook me SO HEAVY! All night long You took me ROCK STEADY! You shook me SO HEAVY! Baby, all night long You took me ROCK STEADY! All night long Startin' out I'm baring down You got me burning At the speed of sound... Oooo... And I'm coming To get ya! Ain't nothing Gonna stop me now If ya can't get loose I can show you how I'm gonna hold You tight 'Cause I can still Remember! Baby take me back Where I belong Take me back before Before the thrill is gone I've been on the road Of lightning With a circuit overload Take me back And love me, Baby So easy!
Now that's what you call Heavy Metal! Akira is the master. One of Masters of shred and killer guitar riffer. Japan's Randy Rhoads. Loudness blew my mind when I heard them when Thunder In The East came out and I own most everything they have done prior and after since with a few of the non Metal ones missing in the years prior to the return to the original roots. I seen them in Detroit with Stryper and TNT in 87'. Wow!!! Talk about an AWESOME concert! All three bands were in top form at that time and that night.
I’m late to the party… this popped up on my Spotify tonight. Man, me, my 73 Camaro, a Camel light, cassette deck, speakers from Circuit City? I miss those years so bad!!
Kicking Minoru out just to get a white guy to push sales was an incredibly shitty move. Viscera ia decent at best, and by no long shot worthy to replace Niihara. I wouldnt even listen to the music from thia era if not for the legendary instrumental work.
Loudness it's worth every cent you pay to see them perform live....they will be playing at the Hell and Heaven Metal Fest 2020 in Mexico next month along with so many great bands like King Diamond, Soulfly, Death Angel, Rhapsody, Black Flag, Static X, Visions Of Atlantis, Max and Iggor Cavaleira's band Roots and Manowar and many other bands!!!That's so cool!
I love how in the shots in the cave Akira has four full stacks and the bassist just has the one 8x10 rig. But whatever, it's a music video I guess. Kick ass band.
I would venture to say he is the best vocalist in just about any band he was in, aside from Yngwie Malmsteen - there have just been far too many great singers there to pick just one and proclaim them the best.
He has. I lve seen him do crazy nights. Even heard minoru do soldier of fortune Its weird hearing them do the others songs, both guys have very diffrent vocal styles. I like that about them
I don't care who sings for them...the band is the shit...these guys can play...I saw the original lineup years ago and they blew me away...good song...
it's too bad....this band is REALLY good. akira does not get enough respect here in USA. he is a very good artist, and he can shred up against anyone .
everyone talks about akira,... and mike... but what about the drummer... he cant rest in peace... he is sooo great... u can listen to dillussion all they long...
Mike Vascera is the shit alright when they hired him Loudness got a different sound but still good sux that his time with band was short lived 1989-1991 but o well his god alright Akira is god as well very great Japanies guitarist wishi could see this band one day although they have Minoru back right now and still dont have replacement for Muniteka RIP we miss u
The world would be a much better place if everyone loved 80s metal and glam rock. im gonna make it my goal in life to bring this muisc and start this craze over agian. "you shook me all night long" Thats how you fucken sing not like good charlotte, bieber or all that hip hop crap flowing around the world.
I always wondered how much having Mike V in the band helped them in the United States market? He's an amazing singer, but if they had not been trying to make it in America, he never would have been in the band - the guy they had before was fine.
These guys were pretty damned good, even getting past the racism of the time, with most Strip players referring to them as "Roudness". But anybody who was anybody knew who they were. They ascended above the bullshit to be one kick-ass band!
@PEDROCLASSIC Heard them all, once again! =D But I truly like Ratt, from an EXTREMELY young age I caught on to their music. All of them are good, but Ratt has to be one of my most favorites.
they replaced him with Mike Vescera (the guy in the video) for one album- apparently to tap into the American market they were breaking into- but ended up replacing Mike with another Japanese guy and eventually the original guy came back.
@DualHelix5 here's some metal albums 80s you may like: Savatage - hall of the mountain king 1987 loudness - thunder in the east 1986 Wasp - headless children 1989 judas priest - screamin for vengeance 1984 iron maiden - somewhere in time 1986 dokken - back for the attack 1987 megadeth - so far so good 1987 black sabbath - heaven and hell 1980
@77REVOLTFORAFRIKA77 A little differnt in the sense that there songs are all in Japanese save a few english words here and there X Japan is also another very good japanese band from the 80s. Check out "silent jealousy" Starts out slow, then rocks on hard. And, as a matter of fact the basses, Taji, also went on to join loudness during the 90s too. The same time the singer from ezo joined. Crazy but, Ezo, Loudness and X Japan are all kinda linked
@PEDROCLASSIC What if I told you that I've listened to all those albums, I own the Loudness album, and my mom owns all the others. =D And they are ALL badass.
@ArtzyFartzy6 Hell yeah. I'm 19, and some would criticize me and say I'm too young to know this music, but my mother was a true metalhead and she brought me up on stuff like this! I remember rockin' out to this when I was growing up. I was brought up the right way, on music that had energy and feeling and when it wasn't all about making money!
Minoru left in 1988 and Mike Vescera replaced him. Mike left in the early 90s, and they had a different Japanese vocalist until 2001, when Minoru rejoined.
Mike sings very well in this song and he shows the power of his voice!!!! Perfect!!!!!!!!!!!
akira takasaki is the most underated guitarist of all time, its sad that loudness never made it huge.
Almost 20 years old song and still one of the best! Excellent stuff!!!
Well, he is in the league of Warren DeMartini, George Lynch and the other elite ones.
the drummer is RIP..sad but true
KILLER metal! Loudness was one of the best metal bands EVER.
Heavy Rock. Not Heavy Metal.
Sorry but this is pure 80s heavy metal
The most underrated metal band and guitar player!!!!!!!!!
Still epic in 2023! 🤘🏻
I'm breakin' out
I gotta know
What it's all about

Where I belong
Take me back before

Slow and easy!
You shook me
SO HEAVY!
All night long

ROCK STEADY!
You shook me
SO HEAVY!
Baby, all night long
You took me
ROCK STEADY!
All night long
Startin' out
I'm baring down
You got me burning
At the speed of sound...

And I'm coming
To get ya!

I can show you how
I'm gonna hold
You tight
'Cause I can still

See em open for Motley on the theater 🎭 of pain tour in 85 Loudness is amazingly loud lol!!
Tremendo vocalista!👏
I’m late to the party… this popped up on my Spotify tonight. Man, me, my 73 Camaro, a Camel light, cassette deck, speakers from Circuit City? I miss those years so bad!!
Badass. These metal samurai are the true masters. This singer sounds great.I prefer the original but he's not bad at all.
I remember this coming out on mtv it was awesome,,,longgg time! still cool listening to it Dec. 2019
Drumming/Guitaring in masterful SYNC
Mikes vocal delivery is incredible on this album.
who is the vocalist .wich band is he in now.
これ聞くとバイクになぜか乗りたくなる...。
One of the best song and performance that i ever listen
Loudness rocked in all their versions. My favorite will always be Minoru, bur Mike and Mazaki were great too.
Kicking Minoru out just to get a white guy to push sales was an incredibly shitty move. Viscera ia decent at best, and by no long shot worthy to replace Niihara. I wouldnt even listen to the music from thia era if not for the legendary instrumental work.
@@jasonlieberman9840 ah bullshit. You'd be a fucking liar saying solider and on the prowl weren't bad ass albums.

Unbelieveable Fantastic .
No Words i can describe how Good the whole Package is.
damn, this was their best formation.Loundness rocks man...soldier of fortune is their best album
this song is my favorite in the last concert
Loudness it's worth every cent you pay to see them perform live....they will be playing at the Hell and Heaven Metal Fest 2020 in Mexico next month along with so many great bands like King Diamond, Soulfly, Death Angel, Rhapsody, Black Flag, Static X, Visions Of Atlantis, Max and Iggor Cavaleira's band Roots and Manowar and many other bands!!!That's so cool!

Bass amps have alot of power even at low watts. But there's only 1 guitarist so i guess it was to fill the gap
plus he used Boogie and not Marshall and I bet they are empty heads :)
the best vocalist loudness had ever had... although some of the old songs were also cool, I'd love to see mike sing old loudnes songs
I would venture to say he is the best vocalist in just about any band he was in, aside from Yngwie Malmsteen - there have just been far too many great singers there to pick just one and proclaim them the best.
He has. I lve seen him do crazy nights. Even heard minoru do soldier of fortune

one of the best heavy metal singers next to dio, michael sweet and david coverdale.also he looks like joye demaio from manowar
Joey Demaio
