Thanks. I will let you know if I have further questions later. Honestly I have a million questions but I try to research them. Not a lot of information out there for Nukes though.
@@frankwood1525 Specifically for prototype? Depends on the rate. I'd say 20-30% for ETNs. Its not particularly difficult, but you eat, breathe, and sleep it for 6 months, on rotating shiftwork. It's extremely stressful.
My request has come true!!! Thank you so much 🙏. I’m half way in power school rn, 2406-5. Graduating February 14,2025 right on Valentine’s Day. I’m going to try to plan something special for my girlfriend that day 😤😤😤
@@frankwood1525 it’s what you make of it really. It’ll challenge you for sure but ultimately, your perspective, your drive, activities outside of school make the difference between school being hard or a struggle.
Thank you for the information on prototype! How has the fleet been for you, have you been on deployment yet? Also, how is the social life as a female nuke? Is it a tighter knit group? I’m really interested in becoming a nuke but unsure about deployment if I’m mostly surrounded by men.
Haven’t seen a deployment yet, but I’ve been on so many underways. Hanging with the girls is pretty fun, it’s like having your own friend groups in school. Most of the time everyone gets along, I’ve made so many female friends which is really nice! We do girl group activities on sundays and it makes the time go by faster for sure!
Hey. Thanks for the insight. My child is in Power School now..He got rolled back the very last week of Power School earlier so he just restarted last week. Your experience or helpful tips to pass along to him. He has a positive attitude so I am thankful for that. Do you see yourself doing this job long term now that you’ve been in the fleet a year?
Hey! A buddy of mine got rolled also in power school :( it’s a bit hard at first but a positive attitude is always a good start. I did choose to reenlist for another 2 years, I’m glad to be a nuke, but I’m not too sure how far this will be for me outside of the navy. I have looked into starting programs to further my career outside in case I do! Wish your sailor the best of luck, for me, it’s been worth it so far!
Glad Your Back ❤

9:40 is a hard lesson to learn but a very good point.
Was the 626 still there when you left?
Yes! A few of my friends were on the 626, barge life is different

what was the attrition rate like for the entirety ?
When I was going through, it was about 70-80% that made it out of prototype
