Good information- I didn’t realize that the flowers needed to be manually opened. I just bought an asunta 3 cutting and I’m excited to try to grow it!

Kim is one of the best dragonfruit growers I’ve seen. Pretty excellent information about the asunta variety, they seem quite sweet. Really good and helpful information about the Asuntas. Now I want to buy an Asunta 3😭🥺

Thank you so much for sharing! Very helpful information. How many days from bud to bloom? How do you know when to help them to open their flower since you mention to open them manually. Thanks again chi!!

Kelly Le from bud to bloom 30 days . From bloom to fruit another 60 days but I harvest in 51 days due to heat weather fruit start to ripen fast . Manually when it staring try to open but it’s can’t about 3 to 4 days when the bud half way those next three days you will see they just getting big than its time to see if it’s bloom or stuck

On one of your videos you said you liked asusta 2 more than Asunta 3. What about Asunta 4? Do you like that better or do you still like Asunta 2 more?

GT-Maniac , A2 is completely different taste than other df . A3 &4 is sweet but didn’t have the tropical flavor then A2 . IMO I’m grow more A2 .

@@kimsdragonfruitparadise I am getting ready to purchase about 20 acres of raw land and I want to plant Dragon fruit. I have been studying everything I can get my brain on to learn about this wonderful fruit. This fall I wan to go down to visit your farm and actually see you and taste of the different varieties you have and learn more. I will want to purchase a lot of different cuttings from you by then. Enough to plant some acreage. I live in the Central valley of California. Fresno.
