Would you be willing to do some scans of models with more complex topology, such as a cast or jaw bone from a mammal and show how well the different cusps and basins represent? I am considering getting this scanner for this purpose. Would you be willing to include a calibration item like a Lego block or ruler for comparison? The crab looked pretty good but at present it looks pretty close to my RevoPoint Mini.

Great result ! Is this a 3D scanner only for small objects, or can I also scan big environnements, such as galeries, underground caves, etc ... ? What is the max range from the object ( I have in mind the LiDAR of iPhone and its 5m max range ) ?
This one is mostly for small size objects but you get other ones for larger objects

Humans have an accuracy of about 0.03mm so this thing it like a 3x zoom :D

Did you test the Lite version as well and if so how was the quality compared to the pro version?
I didn't test the lite version as I really wanted the colour scans, it's not as accurate and doesn't have colour
have you considered selling some of the fossils you pick up over time?
I give them away when I visits schools, I don't sell any
Hi, have you tested difference between lite and just seal?
I haven't, from what I understand the Lite doesn't have color (fine if you're into 3D printing) and slightly less resolution.
@@MamlamboFossils yeah thought on it a bit. Bought lite version figured late afther order placed canceled it waiting on the Seal. Hope will do fine in car custom parts 😅
