Magnificent. As I was listening to this, I can only imagine when RT first played this for his agent, his record co people, his producer…they must’ve shit their pants and run away, can’t really cry at the business table.
Nice work! …I’ve seen RT live scores of times… probably seen him do 52VBL live 30(?) times and I’ve never once seen him use hybrid picking to do it. Always a thumb pick. So, gold star for playing an RT tune in RT’s hybrid style when RT never plays this RT tune in RT’s style. We’re through the looking glass here.
Wtf is that right hand, I've been playing 10 years and never been able to do anything like that! Holy moly, I've got some work to do. This performance was just stunning.
Great performance. Take a look at Sir Frank Dicksee's painting La Belle Dame Sans Merci inspired by Keats. She is riding off on the knight's horse, leaning down to kiss him one last time before his death. The colours are predominantly red and black, the colours of the death goddess.
This sends shivers up the spine. Better than the original. One of the very best acoustic guitarists I've heard. I love this version. Perfect live version. This young man can play!
i have listened to many covers of this song and yours sir is easily the best, well done fella you have utterly nailed it👏👏👍👍

What an exquisite presentation. The dynamics, the vocals, some fine solos and heavenly pickin'; Yeah, you NAILED it. Thanks for sharing this.
one of the few covers I like. Awesome song, and not just anybody can even do a halfway good rendition of it. You nailed it.

Better than the original-way to go Michael!
Standard tuning?
CGDGBE, 3rd fret capo
I think that deserved a bi more than the polite applause. 😂
Hybrid picking? Dang!!
