Just installed mine, following this video. Very easy, it took about an hour. No issues at all! Well.. the step at 3:43 when you attach the stem to the fork was a bit tight on my scooter, it helps if you rest the fork against a box or something underneath. Another tip: apply some loctite to all the screws and bolts when doing the install, might as well. And check the tightness of all bolts, some were a bit loose from the start.
We do recommend everyone to add Loctite to the pivot axle screws after a week of riding Ninebot with SHARKSET SUSPENSION. Thank you for purchasing SHARKSET.
@@AfterTiredComesStupid I ended up using a large flathead screwdriver to force the gap a bit wider, and at the same time I screwed the bolt down bit by bit. The screwdriver left some marks, but I can live with that.
An advice - in 5:06 - don't put the sticker on yet. Put sticker as a last thing once everything is assembled, just in case. Apart from that, there is one annoying thing to me - brake cable. First, its thicker than the original one, which makes putting the isolating rubber back on really hard and it doesn't really fit well, secondly, its too long. It should be at least 10 cm shorter, if not more.
You save plenty of time and hassle if you don't want the RGB lights. You can ignore the gluing + adhesive strip steps and Step 7 onward. Effectively ending the tutorial at 6:52
Just bought it gonna return it. I can't even install the wheel on the new fork. The center piece does not align with the little piece of metal that sticks out. Don't know how to explain it. Anyways you guys need to provide instructions
I am not able to get it in fully at the step at 3:43. I've got it about 3/4 of the way in but cannot get it to go any further. Extremely tight! I also am not able to separate them again. How can I fix this?
Nice. Don't forget to offer a Set, too. Talking about the shocks... are they standard sized? Can I replace them with a e.g. a FOX damper? Oh and don't forget to add the light blue NB Max color way 🤣🤣🤣
Hi, I installed it and I have a little play on the stem which caused it to move back and forth. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this please ?
Impossible to assemble with the tools provided. No instructions to at least let you know you can't use the provided wrench to get the wheel off. another trip to the store
FOR FUCK SAKE THAT MUSIC IS ANNOYING!!! Also it wasnt very clear if the ring thats in the stem should be taken out or put back in, not sure if that could be dangerous. Otherwise a good video 👍
Thank you, the three hours it took to install this was worth it. Really great product, I don’t even feel the bumps
Will it work on the G2 max

Mine is not "a bit tight", I'm sweating my a** off right now trying to get the darn thing in! :D
@@JustACupOfCoffeePLZ Yeah, I'm only able to get mine like 3/4 in. Not sure how I would get it in any further, any suggestions?

Is the cable into the control box just for the lights? 'Cause I would definitely not do the extra work for that. I'd prefer it without the lights even

can you attach steering damper to it?
wish I could actually but the front and rear suspension can't find either on their web site..
Do you have to use a spacer on the none brake side of the wheel?
does it affect the scooter range?
Can I just don't connect led i don't want to open my ninebot and lose waterproof
Same.
In fact I wish they ship a version without the LED at all but maybe a few bucks cheaper

THX, great video, installed mine today.
Any tips? I’m about to start mine now. Is that glue in the beginning to fill where the leds go and did you use ?
@@Johnny2Feathers I did not fit the LED yet. But on my connection you would need the glues, cause there is no isolation at this part.
@@carstenlueck8692 think Im going to skip the LED part. to flashy for my liking and dont care to carry a remote.
Are you located in Florida's by Chance? Or know anyone that will do this installation for me for a fee. I have bad arthritis and can't do this myself
I’m getting mine in the end of may let me know I’d be happy to help
can’t seem to break down the brakes screws
Got mine today wooooo
How do you feel?
@@jefflawrence5835 better to be honest less pain in the ass
I feel like I could make this front fork work on a NIU KQI3! Damn I want to try it badly
I have the new version of the G30 and there is no free port :( Is there any other way to connect the leds?

Wedge screw driver in the gap and widen it. Then you will be able to install the steering tube
@@SHARKSET does this mean destroying the original scooter part? Or you mean widen the sharkset part?
Hi ..
When will the rear suspension be provided?
In Jun. We are working on the first prototype
@@SHARKSET Waiting for him and good news .
It's almost August and I can't find it here in Germany 😭.
The rear suspension has been designed and mass production starts soon. Please join our Facebook group in order to stay updated.

gibt es das auch für niu max
It's this better than the double monorim?

Of course Monorim the best one in the world.

Are the LEDs not pre-installed?
Nooo
Could you please send me the Xiaomi pro 2 version ?
Hi, I installed it and I have a little play on the stem which caused it to move back and forth. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this please ?
Did you forget to replace the stem's grommet? That's a common issue when replacing the stem, many forget that and complain of stem wobble
Pourquoi ce fabricant n’a pas vendu la trottinette avec la suspension ?

Are the leds included?
@sharkset would this be compatible with Kuickwheel S1CPro?
I am afraid NOT! SHARKSET suspension module has been developed in two variants. One for Ninebot Max G30 and another one for Xiaomi Scooters.
Installation doesnt show how to adjust brake disc !!
Impossible to assemble with the tools provided. No instructions to at least let you know you can't use the provided wrench to get the wheel off. another trip to the store
I had this problem too. Including the wrong tools with your product is pretty fucking embarrassing.
can i install this to ninebot es2?
unfortunately not!
So how will this affecr the IP rating ?
You can replace the grommets, if you're cautious about the small gaps you can always fill them with silicone filler or hot glue even.
Went to their website and it’s sold out
May7th will be back in stock

Put everything back in where it belongs, the stem bearing helps reduce stem wobble + confidence in riding and is pretty important.
