Welcome to our first episode of story time where we tell weird stories from our many years of ttrpg experiences.
Today we tell the story of how our DM saved the campaign and answer the question of how the heck did corporate America find its way into our campaign.

I always will love my current party. As a DM I didnt have to do nothing. They sat around and inrp tied two conflicted player characters to chairs and made them settle their conflict before one major plot point. It was honestly awesome to see one session become this massive 3-hour character development. No fighting. No battle maps. Just a landing page (cause we play on Roll20) and narration.

In case it wasn't clear, Decoy was gray-skinned half-orc who liked to engage in negotiations with his lower horn, hence the name "elephant" dance.

Corporate team building. That's what a D&D party needs to stop all the murder hoboing.

Well done! I’m new to Dming for my 2 kids, 11 and 13. And they don’t like to cooperate yet causing sessions to run long due them wanting to go off on their own and do their own thing. I’ll try to do something similar to this to get them to work together, at least in game. And hopefully give them some inside jokes out of game

We'll probably do a video about incorporating kids in a otherwise adult game, which was sometimes our situation. We didn't always do a good job of it, but sometimes you learn more from mistakes than anything.
