I had a yellow lab named Buddy for almost twelve years. He died May 2014, but this video reminded me of all the great years we had with little buddy...from his first few trained behaviors to him growing up to be a big boy! I really miss playing fetch him with him. This video made me smile :-)
I could watch videos of your dog all day. I used to have a yellow Lab who passed away prematurely and watching videos like this makes me miss him less.
I wont forget my Yellow Lab Pillsbury... He was a very special pet. He does all the things including fetching the leash when he wants to go to pee, sit, lay down, jump and catch the ball. This video is amazing! Thank you!
I like your strategy of getting another dog after then rather getting 2 pups at the same time; because when you have 1 potty trained pup the non one will follow and potty train by themselves! You are a great man, god bless you and your dogs.

I just got my yellow lab puppy 3 weeks ago. He's an awesome dog, and learning really fast. He loves to hang out with the big dogs and do what they are doing, thankfully my family and friends have very well mannered dogs.
:'( they grow up so fast. Sometimes they dont need any help climbing up the stairs with their cute legs sometimes I wish they would stay tiny and cute. Now their just on their own makes me cry everytime I give my pup a belly rub. :'(

It's funny, remington was like trying to get the other dog the dog's like, "I'm big stuff." Then Remington grows up the dog's like, "Hey, let's talk about this." ;)
+Ryan Tate I used feeding time in the morning and at night to train the dogs. You already have to do that, prolonging it by 5 minutes to work on basic commands (sit, stay, come, etc) works wonders because you have their full attention with the food bowl!

you've trained so well your lab. I have a brown lab and its not easy to learn him all this things . He can sit, lay down, stay a little bit, shakehand, come. But when he see people or other dogs he is so happy so too much excited. :( I hope oneday have my lovely dog as yours. Good job. :)
This is a dog by the name of Princeton,I have him at home.He is a bobble head dog that really looks like the real thing.I just touch his head a little and he comes alive.He sits on my TV tray.he seems so real looking.He is a real treasure and a real pleasure.He is my trusted sidekick.
I'm getting a shelter dog sometime soon, but first our house needs to go threw inspection to see if it's "dog proofed" as the shelter puts it. I grew up around dogs but never got one. It's going to be my first dog I can't wait!

Remmy and my boy Loki would have so much fun together! loki is a yellow/blonde lab with a little brother who is half pit bull, half Australian Shepard mix and has energy to spare!

Remington is beautiful. We are at 18 weeks with Blaze. Labs are so much fun (Blaze is our third yellow in the last 30 years, Pumpkin, 15 years, Sunny, 14.5 years, now Blaze. Check out my Instagram for pics @techymike. :-)
It's a labor of love, that's for sure! Something that helped training tremendously was to use food as part of the training process. Before I give him his food I make him perform a number of commands: sit, stay, lay down, etc. Feeding them is already something that you have to do so just taking a few extra minutes makes a huge difference! Good luck training your puppy and make sure to post videos!
