i love the aesthetic and a lot of the horror of analog, my big problem with it is that when people focus so much on being vague you can miss a lot of the emotion that will get you invested. i think a really good example of analog done well, especially in regards to this, is Children Under The House.

I'm just tired of so many already done to death tropes to the point it's hard to even try and bother finding something unique anymore.
Straight up plagiarism, EBS and text to voice for everything, , another mimic epidemic, the list goes on and on.
It's only solidified my recent distain in this great medium because of the influx of new eyes (99%) of them being children/young teens thinking they can take a shot of it and be the next big thing after watching The Boiled One & The Man In The Suit.
I kid you not I saw analog horrors for Blues Clues & JoJo Bizarre Adventure on the official reddit and countless others that were clearly made by kids.
I will admit i've found recently a few hidden gems that scratch that itch for creativity and actually been made by someone who is actually fully developed mentally. My favourite so far has to be The Hapis Protocols by Philm Pixels. I would highly recommend that if you're into the Oceans & Thalassphobia. It's even got a nice change of scenery of it not being in America for once and set in the UK.
Series like that gives me hope because right now i think we're personally in the worst timeline for new analog horror.

Things were getting pretty same-y in the Analog Horror subgenre even BEFORE some goobers started adding AI to the mix.
And, when you get down to it, that’s where I place a lot of the blame: Formula, formula, formula.

    Holy crap dude.
I remember searching your name and scrolling for what felt like years to find you but now you’re the first result? You’ve grown. That’s amazing.

Just like everything popular in life, analog horror has gotten VERYYY stale, samey, and boring. No one is taking risks and trying anything different. It's all about playing it safe. If you seen Walten Files or Backrooms, you've seen them all. If I was to create a series, my #1 objective would be to break away from the norm and go all in on wacky/un-usual ideas that hasn't been played with yet, to which there are many! Both storywise and aesthetics. Amazing video dude, it gets at the root of the problem I have with the genre.

you haven't really searched ARG community have you, talk about dead, Analog Horror will never die, it will always be over satire and full of creations whenever it's bad or good but will never die.
