Whats terrifying is that on day 2, the father says that there are monsters out right now but we clearly know that’s not true. Maybe it could’ve been the police that were searching his home for his suspicious supplies the father bought.. the pills made her not be able to comprehend correctly as the father abused that. The apple, the sun, it shows how she has never even seen an apple or sun in her life, her father has kept her for years. The nightmares, the horrible monster in the end of one of her dreams could maybe explain how the medicine and abuse has affected her drastically. The chains shows how she doesn’t even know if she should trust papa at all. Maybe he was gone for those days when the father was taken away from suspicion supplies he bought.. now, she is pregnant.
