Bought mine through Lakeveiw ford on ebay. Kit with 2 factory keys $250. Hood switch $13. Installed myself, but will have to take to dealer and have remote start activated if you don't have a computer with ford software $170.
Yeah Josh the extra 170 sucks but to have a factory OEM remote start is worth the extra I was lucky enough to have friend with Ford software. But still you got it done for a little less then 450 and you didn’t have to hack up and splice into your wiring harness 👍

It wasn’t technically a fob it’s a key with the button on the n I ordered 2 of these key blanks had had them copied hat my local hardware store then programmed them manually in car
I got a key with a remote start button. I installed the antenna. Now do I need to get a hood switch to make it work? Also did you use forscan to enable remote start, and if so, where exactly did you go to do that?
@@btwgarage5265 no worries compadre. Just something to keep in mind. A cheap go pro or a chest/ball cap mount for your phone should work. It's hard to know what's good in a teaching video because you already know, but for someone who wants to see what's going on it looks like the Blair with project running in the night in the woods scene.
