oh that’s what i was going to recommend you, the old-school milo. that milo you were having is different from other milos you had had. in thai, we call it school milo, when there were milo trucks coming occasionally and students queuing. school milo tastes different and thai people had been asking the company to sell it!
Yay! It certainly tasted different! I cant believe you had milo trucks! haha we had nothing like that in Australia really. Thats awesome 😂
@@josieliftsthings Yes for elementary schools! I guess it is the marketing campaign of Milo company to have the elementary school tour. @Phunnawat had it, I had it. The best childhood memory because Milo was so cold, rich, creamy and it meant WE HAD A SHORT BREAK FROM OUR CLASSES!!! Yeah! 😂😂✌️✌️

Love many of your videos! If you like the Pad Thai taste, have you ever try “Pad see ew”? It’s fried noodle with dark soy sauce. It’s one of Thai favorite dish and it is underrated for non Thai. You have a chance please try it without a pinch of sugar, then sugar will lift up the taste more! Hope you both will like it, stay healthy and lively, be safe and enjoy your journey. Cheers fr BKK!

How amazing is Bangkok!! The market is a must see for sure it is MASSIVE. 😂 and the food part is so big with sit down parts to eat and standing stalls on the side too the whole way around. Happy to have you here for future videos! Hope you like them 😁😁🙏🏻

Haha oh trust me, THEY DO 😂😂😂 I find I have to really pinch the mask down so it’s tight on my nose and put the glasses on top. 😂😂 but the change in humidity always makes them fog when we walk from air conditioning to outside in the warm! 😂

100% Milo fan accept not substitutes. First made in Kempsey NSW got to respect 🙏 a great Aussie invention. 🇦🇺 I first went to JJ's weekend market 25 years ago (Chatuchak market ). Honestly it's worth getting lost in there.

I dont know if you have tried old school thai coffee , it’s called kafae bo-ran. It’s different vibe.
Is this the one that street vendors do? I think I’ve tried it! But I don’t like any sweet in coffee and it normally comes sweet.. can I ask for it with no sugar or it doesn’t work like that? 😂
Josie use the spoon! Push food onto the spoon with the fork, but eat with the spoon, get better mouth fulls that way and it's how Thais use cutlery.

Thai food is the best! haha. At home in Australia you put lots of spoons of milo in a cup, and then pour milk on top. Its nice, but the way the milo is mixed here in Thailand with the sweet milk and condensed milk is very different!! Its so good!
Please try “MILO VOLCANO KAKIGORI” at after you dessert shop ☺️ it's very delicious

Those "hard things" are not Pine nuts. They are toasted or deep fried Mung beans, rather. BTW, try wearing white flowing blouse when you are out in hot weather you won't be so hot, Josie. Dark color absorbs more heat. 🥵

Actually, the white sauce that goes with sticky rice is usually coconut milk, not condensed milk!
BTW the fried chicken thing looks so appetizing!!

I usually drink only smoothie and keep walking through Chatuchak till go and get some rest at Chatuchak park next to Chatuchak MRT
By the way you might wanna check out Queen SiriKit park in front of Chatuchak park it’s wonderful and so big ☺️
You can go for a ride I. A bike around the park if it’s allowed again 🚲
Hahaha we definitely like food but we walked around the market for hours as well! I'd LOVE to do a bike ride around, I think we may run out of time on this trip but we definitely will be back in bangkok! 😊 😃
