Hmm, learning to sail on a 43 ft condo....LOL. Learned on 15-17 foot boats in Boston Harbor while growing up just east of Boston. Even back then, the harbor was busy....more so now with ferries and cruiselines (day cruises). Unfortunate for Bob...but if you aren't comfortable...smart not to go. Sailing is fun, more so with someone you love.
you guys are taking lessons? I just bought a 26 footer and cranked the motor up and puttered out far enough that it wouldnt hit anything, and figured out what the lines did. LOL
Well, they didn't have to actually work the boat. Just the wheel. wonder if they'd still like sailing if they had to wear gloves and grind winches? lol
@@jonmccauley6490 that's the best part. Its what separates sailors from boaters. no time for running a rod and reel, or swilling beer, there are sails in need of trimming!

It's a fun & challenging adventure every time. Like the drone shots.
Bob should have brought a fishing pole.

That was hard to watch, no mainsail, loose jib? And Bob......What's up with that? :)

Bro was solo and they were just out for a quick trip. Strange he did not even trim it though.
