I love how detailed the videos are and that you show your installs against what they look like in a year. Whenever I look at install videos I’m looking for how they turned out also. And as you’re talking through everything it gives certain ideas that I may want to ask my LOCtician especially if it was something I didn’t think about. Thank you 💜🤞🏾, you can get alopecia with any type of locs. But let’s remember there are different types of alopecia. I have clients with alopecia but it is genetic not from tension. So they are 5 years strong with the same area that hasn’t worsened

Hey, I’ve been doing locs (my moms) since I was young & primarily did my own hair. I learned how to retie by watching a DIY interlocking video on UA-cam and then just learned how to do it to others. So I am mostly self taught then attended the Sisterlocks class in 2019 to officially offer that locking system. & I took a loc styling class in 2023.
