Me and my sister learnt martial art, I got inspired by special forces and the flying kicks and stuff like black panther, my sister got inspired by black widow, after our first week, I asked my sister to spare with me, so the first thing she did was jump on me like black widow, except I dodged and she jumped straight head first into a wall, and that is why I love black widow, reminds me of my sister jumping into a wall

Black Widow is my favorite character in MCU!!! Watching her fighting scenes is just crazy! Her agililty, combat moves, throws, and grabs are awesome!!! Now, in DCU my favorites are Black Canary and Batman, I think for the same reason, they're characters who depend on their physical abilities, martial arts, acrobatics, weapons, and gadgets rather than superpowers such as Superman or Flash. Well, Black Canary's got her "Canary Cry", but she only uses it as a last resource or in complicated situations like when she has to escape. So, clearly she prefers hand to hand combat and melee weapons instead of her superpower.
By the way, very nice job dude! Your videos are super useful and fun to watch ;)

If black widow can’t kill you her greatest strength is being able to survive the encounter. It does not seem to matter who she is fighting she will be able escape if she is overpowered.
One has to wonder if she is not a mutant.
She is a super soldier, in her when she complete her training in the red room in russia she got super soldier serum thats why she is so strong

@@VelkanG In the comics, she's definitely a super soldier. And I dunno if they did get turned into super soldiers in the MCU. All they really told us is that they forcibly sterilized all widows.

Actually in the comics Black Widow does have powers (not sure about MCU) she was actually saved by Captain America and Wolverine when she was a little girl. She would later be put into the red room and be given a weaker version of CA Super Soldier Serum. Don't know if this is the case in MCU I don't think they have mentioned her past much.
They have revealed she was in the Red Room in the MCU. But all they revealed from that was she'd been trained as an assassin and the graduation ceremony, where she forcibly had her reproductive organs removed against her will.

Just a little note: technically, there are no forbidden techniques in martial arts when it comes to self preservation. The only time they are forbidden is in case of competition. But in a self defense situation, if it requires that you bite your assailant, just do it ^^.

I believe she also knows karate.. just look at her brief fight with crossbones, she strikes her forearm bone on his bicep tendon (behind the elbow) and on the side of his neck. This move resembles the "Upper Block" in Karate and Taekwondo (where it's called Olgul Makki)
The flashy wrestling moves are identified as Lucha Libre by Scarlett Johanssen's stunt double ( Heidi Moneymaker) in publicity material, so I think that lends credence to your assessment. She does also say 'The Black Widow style was created on Iron Man 2. They wanted her to be very seductive, but also fierce. We landed on a fight style that incorporates wrestling and judo moves, hand to hand combat, and intricate pieces that involve her using her brain over braun.'

Bruh these videos are just soo helpful to me for the characters I create. I like to think that plenty of them have a unique fighting style, and when I see things in these videos that add up to my superheroes I just grin. Keep up the ggod work!
By the way, I know a lot of people hate him but can you do Iron Fist. Yes those fight scenes kinda lack a bit of quality but in my opinion at least they were pretty creative. And Danny´s elbow strikes deserve a montage. If not it would be awesome if you did a breakdown of Daredevil vs Iron Fist.

And knife styles, combat shooting with dozens of different firearms, Krav Maga and possibly kali. Guy beat Daredevil in a fist fight, no way just marine training would get you that far. No disrespect to the marines, just saying that their hand to hand training isn't enough to fight a super ninja on it's own.

Tane Sorby he has been shown using other fighting styles in the comics so it wouldn't suprise me to see Godzillarex find more in the nextflix series. And before you say it yes i know marine core martial arts is a mix of other fighting styles. Which by the way doesnt include ninjutsu. It includes "MCMAP draws influences from several disciplines including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu,Wrestling, Boxing, Savate, Jujutsu, Judo,Sambo, Krav Maga, Isshin-Ryu Karate, Aikido,Muay Thai, Eskrima, Hapkido, Taekwondo, Kung Fu, Sayoc Kali, and Kickboxing" none of which are related to being a ninja who trains in ninjustu. Daredevil knows all of these and more. So no special marine couldnt beat daredevil in a fight. But yes i will agree the reason he lost was simply being overpowered by punisher.
Ninjitsu has several skills in them, stealth, espionage and infiltration is more important to them than doing some flippy Kung Fu.

You're looking at this a bit way too realistically, and even still forgetting that I said that Widow has fought & defeated beings from other worlds. In Avengers 1 she was fighting the Alien race, "Chitauri", that were shown capable of Demolishing cars just by jumping on them. Even if we ignore that, Widow fights men all the time..trained soliders! And she completely destroys them. She fought Hawkeye (a man) and defeated him.
Also I feel to think just because in a UFC cage women get beaten by men means that a trained woman would normally lose to a trained man , and therefore means Widow gets beaten by Wick.. is just cheap shotting both characters or selling them short. We need to take everything into account.. and on the topic of skill: Skill beats muscle 8/10.. has Bruce Lee not shown that?! Lol jk.

I feel like theres hints of capoeira in her fighting too. In the scene from Winter Soldier with the sweep kick (it's at 6:41 on this video), if that carries on a little longer she carries it round to another guy behind her but it's up high. I dunno what the technical term for it is but maybe you know what I mean xD Isn't that Capoeira?

Personally I'd wait til after his own movie so we can see more. But I think he does Kung fu based on the fluidity and circular nature of moves in CW. He also attacks open handed a la Tiger style.

Godzillarex thank you btw!! If you don’t mind me asking, how long have you learned martial arts? I’m 26, athletic and a dancer but I always want to learn how to fight. How long did it take you to master certain different styles of martial arts???
I've been training in martial arts for nearly two decades now. I don't consider myself a master in any style, but I did achieve a black belt in Taekwondo and it took me 6 years.
