RIP Chadwick Boseman. He was battling cancer for 4 years and no one even knew. So unexpected
I knew RIP
Yes. He's will power is admirable
I never knew, but what a fucking machine!
They were too busy ridiculing him for how he looked anyways Smfh... Messed up society is today
A truly humble man
I got so happy when m’baku called t’chala brother in infinity war.
It was a nice moment
Me too. I wonder what they'll do in next film, since they apparently are not enemies anymore. I think they'll remain as rivals, but they won't interfere in each other's path
Same
Miles Morales Wakanda forever!!!
I never see M'baku as a villain eventhough he was in the comics
Rest in peace Chadwick Boseman
WAKANDA FOREVER!!!
Agreed
In the comics! Black Panther mastered every single martial arts around the world including Kunlun martial arts. Especially when he didn't have his powers he was still a highly versatile martial artist.
Brett Jackson
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! I glad to see other folks know this about Black Panther ✊🏾👍🏾
Brett Jackson I'm not sure because from what I heard he mastered 160, there's 200 martial arts but hey that's what I heard so I could be wrong.
We be talking about them movie fights though. Wrong medium.
nah dude, he know all of em, wherever you got 160 is wrong
Yeah in the comics he is just as intelligent as his little sister and used that intellect in mastering every known style there is .
As a Zulu man from South Africa I'm proud to see you add my culture to your videos and explain our Fighting style so well. Thank you Adrian
Thanks for watching! And I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
Rest In Power Chadwick 🌹
It's time....
For the PUSH KIIIIIIIIIIICK
I saw some capoeira when he fought M'baku.
Glad you spotted it too!
I saw your mom
Chris Taylor very mature dude
As someone who does HEMA, it brought so much joy to my heart when you mentioned it, because it's so unknown. I applaud your research, and thank you for shedding light on an often overlooked fighting style 💚
Awesome! I'm glad you enjoyed the section on HEMA. Please share the video if you get the chance, it really helps me out in making more!
I live in Harlem, NY. There's a couple of martial arts schools near me that are just a couple of blocks away from each other. One teaches HEMA and Kendo, the other teaches Zulu/African martial arts. I think T'Challa would really love the NY martial arts scene and it's variety of styles. HEMA is cool, happy training!
Tbh I think Black Panther was the best in Civil War rather than Infinity War and Black Panther, but freshest and best up and coming character in the mcu. I will be pissed if the writers don't bring him back soon.
Yeah, I think so too seen as BP was treated like a fucking side character in the movie that is named after him! Just so we can have a bunch of strong black independent wahmen who don't need no man! I mean seriously look at the final fight scene which had the female side characters been shown to fight the main bad guy more than Black Panther himself!
Niko Soukkala You know what else is sad? T’challa didn’t accomplish in his film. Hell, it was Freeman that saved Wakanda’s vibranium. You know, the guy that got called a “colonist”
I agree. Civil War made him seem like a martial arts badass. His solo film had him rely on his super suit and super strength all the time.
The suit in BP was too OP
BP goes hibombe in endgame lolol
Rest in peace, Chadwick Boseman.
These fight style videos are always entertaining
Thanks!
A bit odd that he doesn't use any panther style kung fu techniques, since panther style actually exists, one of it's most known technniques is form the hand like a pawn and perform a move similar to the palm strike. For a guy who uses the alias "Black *Panther* " is odd that he doesn't know or use any panther style
Gabriel .Strange or maybe he hasn't demonstrated it yet in films
Why should he?!
The Panther itself is the base of Black Panther and the golden (panther) tribe's warfare if you think about it.
Panther fist ironically doesn't use claw attacks nearly as much as Tiger Fist.
@@Dragonflyjones67 Because of the reasons just listed...
Read the comment buddy
He is so badass even i hardcore fighting style moves like that a little bit.
He will be remembered.
Rest in peace T'challa.
Wakanda Forever.
Love this! Black Panther demonstrates knowledge of a lot of martial arts. Good to see you highlighting the African Martial arts! Great video.
Awsome video. I hope they add more fight scene in BP2 and they change his suit. Civil war suit was better. Liked that Dambe was part of his fighting styles, it originates from my country.
Thanks! Glad you liked it
It seem that you haven't watched infinity war yet black panther is dead in that movie
M they aren’t going going to keep them dead it is bad for business
@@bodie6783 That and black panther 2 had already been confirmed. Same as Spiderman 2. Though, I'd say they're less dead than they are ready from existence.
In every Marvel movie I also notice they change the suits to sell more toys. I wonder will how much they will change the suit up.
Black panther, captain America, iron 👊, dare devil, and bushmaster showed the best fighting styles in the movies. Also i want to see black panthers use vibranium sword in the next movies because hes a excellent sword fighter.
Bro ur an expert and a genius when it comes to martial arts
Thanks man!
Godzillarex ur welcome
Do the Lethal Weapon 4 final fight
Love your analysis, really looking forward to more
Great video Adrian! Glad to see you have knowledge and or research the martial arts for I have 48 years training in the martial arts.
I love the emphasis on the push kick after watching the Cap and Daredevil analysis vids 😆
Oh man I’ve been waiting for the next “how many…” for AGES. So pumped!
Awesome!
Bro, I’ve been waiting for this.
Miles Morales so have i
Same.
Glad you saw it!
Yo the build up for the push kick was 🔥 bro
An excellent study, thank you. Should the opportunity present itself, I would be honored to train with you.:)
Thanks! Sure man
Godzillarex how many fighting styles does Godzillarex know?
Great video. Loved your work since I found this channel
Superb knowledge of Striking styles and ancient African Military arts. You really know how to explain the subtleties as well. I think Capoeira came over from Angola (at least the Brazilian Style). It's not by any means new. Great Video.
Man, you are so deep in martial arts, great video
This video was great! You should do a video on The Punisher's fighting style at some point.
I do love Black Panther's martial arts techniques 💖
Man I love it! I love it! Love it! Love it! Love it and I do!!! I've been searching for several long months to find a video specifically made to analyse "Black panther styles of Martial Arts"! Today I have satisfied to the Maxxxx!!! I love you brother for what you've accomplished!❤❤❤❤❤❤😘😘😘😍😍😍😍✌✌👍👍👍👊👊👏👏👏👏🤜🤜😃😃😃😃
Oh man I know how it feels. Theses videos are great.
Glad to have you posting again
I been waiting for this one!😁
I've been waiting so long for a new one! And can you do either punisher, john wick, or winter soldier!
I get so excited when it gets to ta Kwon doe cause I am just so excited for the incoming push kick montage
7:05 loved this dual kick combo, first time I saw this in the theaters I knew BP wasnt playin around lol
Same here! I feel his skills went down several notches on his solo movie. He depended more and more on the suit.
Godzillarex why not? The suit is damn near impervious to all attacks even falls from 1000’s of feet in the air like in the killmonger fight. I’d say it gave his fighting prowess the extra punch it needed
Very insightful video!
Missed you bro! Great job as always!
Thank you for breaking down these fights! so many of the techniques performed are missed during the movie since they are done so fast Example: at 7:15 when BP does a front kick to Bucky's punch to get the punch out of the way than sidekicks Bucky's chest. Something that is missed at regular speed
Thank you, I've asked for this for a while, I love your videos
Thanks for watching!
@8:30 I KNEW IT WAS THE PUSH KICK!!! I saw your videos on Solid Snake and Batman but I forgot to subscribe. I subbed! Great content, keep it up!
Awesome! Welcome to the channel man. New video every Saturday!
Pppppuuusssshhhhh kkkkiiiiccccckkk
When you mentioned T’Challa boxing, there was a boxing style counter he did against Winter Soldier in Civil war
As always these are always very well done, but I’m curious to know what fighting styles Bumblebee knows throughout the movies, as he’s the more agile of the Autobots and his fighting style does remind me of some martial arts
I do plan on getting to him at some point!
@@Godzillarex is possible to do his bumblebee movie counterpart’s fighting style analysis
Thank you for your review! It was wonderful!!!
Awesome! Thanks for watching. I highly recommend John Wick and Blade as well! They are on the playlist in the description.
My brand new feature film that I directed with epic fight scenes just premiered on Amazon! Click here to see it! www.amazon.com/dp/B07NBVQVS7/
An excellent study, thank you. If the opportunity presents itself, I suggest doing a study on how many fighting styles are IMF agent Ethan Matthew Hunt from the Mission: Impossible series? He is played by Tom Cruise in all the movies until today.
another great video bro!!! i'm still waiting on my telltale batman fight style video lol :-p
RIP wakanda forever 🕊
Nice work on this.I would very much like to see a Arrowverse Deathstroke video next!
Thanks! Can't do CW Arrow videos, they have demonitized practically all of then. Sorry
I don't know much martial arts apart from jujitsu I did as a kid but dayyyyummm I find your videos so interesting
Thank you Josh!
This video was very well done.
your videos are awesome dude.
Missed ya dude! Keep it up
My favorite style of fighting is Taekwondo I also was train in Taekwondo. Also the other name to use for the push kick is also called thrust kick
Wow great . Your knowledge is appreciable. Do Deathstroke .
Great video bro
Thanks man!
Keep up the great work!
Thank you!
Fighting goals for real I am trying to get back into Jeet Kune Do and Kali soon. Til I will be reading and watching training videos
Awesome! Both excellent styles. I talk about Kali in the Daredevil episode and JKD as well
So wing chun comes from Shaolin Kung Fu? I have researched on it. I am still practicing JKD and learning Wing Chun to well whatever I feel is useful from it.Mainly JKD I do want to learn something from Shaolin Kung fu though
Subscribed !
Nice, subscribed
I really just learned new fighting techniqes
in this video.
awesome video man!! can you do a video of the fighting styles of iron fist?
He's a really terrible fighter in the Netflix series. Like really, really bad. They had no time to choreograph his scenes, and he had no time to learn them. I wouldn't want to waste my time or yours to just shit all over it. Sorry man.
Rest In Peace Chadwick Boseman 😔WAKANDA FOREVER 🐆
Awesome man. Great job! Do Thor next please
A smorgasbord of if you martial arts outstanding movie stunt breakdown Adrain.
I know this one may be a pain in the ass for you due to the sheer amount of episodes and movies but can you do Batman the Animated Series/the new Batman adventures (since they're basically the same universe)
Do Punisher from the Netflix Punisher TV show next! He would be an interesting character to see his fighting style broken down.
From what a friend of mine who was in the marines said, Frank uses the L.I.N.E style that the marines used to use.
You should update Captain America’s with his brief, but different styles in Infinity War. Great BP vid🙌🏿
Thanks! He did nothing new there. Push kick, crosses, uppecuts, the usual.
That push kick clip never gets old!
Great Video,
but in Karate and Taekwon-Do you are not actually supposed to punch with this "other hand pulling back"-punch, as it leaves one complete side of your body exposed to counter attacks. This technique is found in forms and as forms are a collection of different self defense moves and not just simple blocks and strikes, often the reaction hand is actually used for breaking free out of a hand grab, while you strike your enemy at the same time with the other hand in order to secure the release. Some applications of the reaction hand also tell you to grab and pull the enemy into your punch or to lock their arm in place with the reaction hand motion. This "punch" can also be interpreted as a takedown, as you see it's not meant to be used as a single punching attack.
That was all I wanted to say.
Have a nice day!
Dralyg
I'm a black belt in TKD. I can guarantee you that is the right way to punch in Taekwondo, which is what I specify in the video. You too.
@@Godzillarex That is not true, and its not true for karate either. Like he said, this is only used in forms or katas.
m-m-m-monkaS how are you gonna tell him he's wrong when he is a black belt he knows what he's talking about chill man you can't say he's wrong when he has the experience and training to back it up
Do a breakdown of The Hulk vs Abomination fight in 2008. And Man-Ape in MCU
Liked and subscribed. I saw your Lara Croft video last night it was amazing.
Could you analyse Dr Strange and Scarlet Witch fighting abilities?
Awesome! Welcome to the channel. Sure, I'll add them to the list.
Niiiiicccceeee Do Alex Danvers, and Catwoman
Could you make a fighting style video on agent 47 in the hitman game series
The double leg spinning kick is the dupla from capoeira
8:00 That kick can also be a variation of the rolling thunder from Kyokushin Karate
Cool!
Bro I think you are basically a genius in fighting styles EXCELLENT CHANNEL
Thanks man! I really appreciate that.
I suggest Elektra in Netflix's Daredevil and The Defenders
marco fava yeah you can do all of the defenders as one video
He already did Daredevil
Brett Jackson He broke down Daredevil's fighting style, not Elektra's
I'd say shorin ryu karate, Capoeira, ninjutsu, muay thai, and krav maga.
Turtle Sage You might also want to include Brazillian Jui-Jitsu or something of the like since she did attempt a triangle choke on Jacques during their fight. Also something for her mastery with knives, sais, swords, as well as firearms. Yes, she's never seen firing a gun, but she did attempt to use one against a hand member and it was empty, so it should be implied that she has at least some basic knowledge in fire arms
Yes, another fight style analys, it's great I bet he does push kicks
Oh how I missed these
And a huge shout out to Chadwick boseman for doing all most of these stunts in his condition may he forever rest in peace
He did not do “most” of these stunts. He did like maybe 20% people of the basic combat where his face is shown, but the majority of the acrobatics and and complex combat was performed by a stunt double and CGI
Great video. Only a minor quibble. I'd say that BP's form on his kicks more closely resembles that of Sanda/Sanshou. They have very similar form to TKD, but they turn the hip over more. It's kinda the middle ground between TKD and Muay Thai for kicks. Take the side kick for example. In TKD you bring your knee up but have it facing outwards for the kick, but the Sanda version has the knee turning downwards to face the ground for even more added torque. It seems that BP is turning his hips a little more than the average TKD kick so I'd probably say that his kicking is more similar to Sanda/Sanshou than TKD.
But that could just be a spinning back kick. In any case there is, and always will be, a huge crossover in techniques. Thanks for watching and commenting Michael!
Very good your videos brother,is. amazing the fight styles of Black Panther, you maked videos as:How many fight styles Luke Cage,Punisher and Elektra???
I don plan on getting to more Netflix characters at some point!
Godzillarex ok man, trank you, sucess for you
Do winter soldier please
Cool video. I've noticed that Subzero of mortal kombat series, he uses dragon style kung fu and shotokan karate.
You should watch my FSB of a MK fight! ua-cam.com/video/cWZd6OvEoO4/v-deo.html
his voice thou at the end when he says caporia-shurkienjutsu
Considering the guy who trained chadwick boseman is also a specialist in 52 blocks and pencak silat I'm surprised we haven't seen that in his techniques yet
Same here. None of his techniques on film indicated Silat.
Godzillarex maybe next time
Love this analysis. Brilliant! Good to see you mention the African martial arts.
How are you gonna have a push kick sequence without the kick from 300?
All jokes aside, these videos are awesome!
Capoeira is my favourite fighting style. By far. So props to Black Panther, just for that I already love him much much more :3.
Capoeira is my brothers favorite style!
@@Godzillarex Your brother has great taste then ;P
Been looking forward to this.
I'd also like to see one for Roy Harper if you haven't done it already
I can't do CW Arrow videos anymore. WB has demonitized virtually all of them.
Ugh...that's so lame
Indeed it is. I had a lot to say about Season 6
Please make one of these fight style video of Winter Soldier
The good ol' push kick never fails
Kirk Acevedo's character on Arrow has a very interesting fighting style I'd love to see you dissect :)
I loathe his character. And he uses typical Army disarms. Nothing special sadly
I love this video do how many fighting styles does Neo know in The Matrix.
You should do how many fighting styles does dexter know from the show, he doesn't show much but it is mentioned that he did advanced jiu jit su and has shown to do the rear naked choked but he seems to be able to roll under punches which could be a striking martial art?
Can you do how many styles are used by Albert Wesker from Resident Evil, the tiger claw remimded me of him
THE PUSH KICK!!!!!!! LOL! All jokes aside, it is one of the most devastating, simple, and practical kicks used by many fighting arts. I practice Wing Chun and use it almost exclusively because, depending on flexibility, I could target a head, chest, or groin.
Yep! It's an extremely versatile kick
