Mysore, previously known as Mysuru, is the third largest and second most populated city of Karnataka. Situated right at the foot of Chamundi Hills, Mysore was once the capital of the Kingdom of Mysore.

I am a native mysorean and definitely the beauty and progress of Mysore is attributed to the Wodeyar kings of Mysore. The KRS(Krishna Raja Sagar) Dam of Mysore built by the Dewan of Mysore asthan and the engineer Sir. M. Vishveswarayya (in honour of whom National Engineers day is celebrated) hails from Mysore and helped in enriching this land to be agriculturally strong. There’s no contribution of Tipu sultan or Hyder Ali for the present day mysore to say the least.

Mysore is indeed a very nice place.But here people have a mob madness.They honk throughout the day unnecessarily.They do it even at 2 Am when there is not even a single man,vehicle or cow is around in the 5Km radius.They don't know the use of hones.Such an uncultured behaviour.They do this in the residential area thereby disturbing the poor old people,children and sick people.
