I will never forget being in the 5th row @the Forum that night! That was my 7th concert of Whitney and I was expecting her more "raspy" (because of the media u know) but when I heard the notes from minute 5.08 my heard went back to The Bodyguard tour!! Like almost 20 years were 20 minutes back! She had the same magical power and control. So thank you Whitney because for 25 years u filled my life with hope, notes of wisdom and I hope u can receive back so much wherever ur are right now.

A lot of singers aren't really good singers. But huh. Whitney knew how to sing. She knew how to. That's a gift. No one like her

FINE AS WINE COOKING CHANNEL She knew every trick to the human voice and how to use it. It all came down to if she was hoarse and taking care of her instrument

Thank you for this. Yes, Whitney Houston truly knew how to sing -- and it was beyond the human voice. She sang from all aspects of her being - from her body all the way to her heart and spirit. Many people today believe that being able to sing in tune and to hit high notes already make a good singer but Whitney Houston proves that singing is a craft that requires time, wisdom, and experience to fully master. I miss her dearly, every day; The Greatest Voice of All.

This performance is a treasure that we can cherish for the rest of our lives. Even if her voice wasn't like in the 80's, this vocal delivery was amazing and full of feelings, emotions and raw power. Her voice remained powerful, resonant and soulful no matter what. Nothing or nobody could take that away from Whitney.
Rest in Peace songbird. You will always live in my heart, Miss. Houston!

I loved what you wrote, I couldn't have said it any better. She may not sing as she did in 1992 when Bodyguard first came out, but life changes. As we get older things don't remain the same, but she was spectacular & she sang with emotion & love to her audience. The media not only exaggerated, but also fabricated alot of how she looked & how she sang. Rest in peace 🙏 Whitney
You'll always be loved & remembered.

What people need to remember is that Whitney has been in the business 30+ years. Some of her choices caused damage to her voice but she STILL gave it her all and did her best. You can’t expect her voice to be the same as it was when she was freakin 21!! Y’all never gave her a break....no wonder she’s dead smfh. She’s finally at peace with the person who means the most to her...Krissy 💜

I loved this woman. I cried like a baby when I heard she passed. I don't care if her voice wasn't what it was before. She was an American Sweetheart. It's so strange that the producers of Body Guard were afraid a Black woman couldn't play that part. She WAS Rachel Moran. She made that part live. I wish she could have really known how much many people genuinely loved her. Personally I couldn't care less if she could just croak out a song. I would have gone to see her at full price and screamed my head off. I love love love me some Whitney Houston. Nobody like her, and there will never be again. She didn't have to gyrate around and show her body. She could sing.

I especially love that husky voice that she had been experiencing in recent years. Even when she was learning to sing with this new voice and take it as well as possible. Who has the gift is and nothing can stop! The anointing is irrevocable once given is forever! And this girl had a lot of anointing in his hoarse or shrill voice, she had the anointing!

You know what irritates me is when she returned people where only remembering the Bodyguard Whitney. Her 98-2004 vocals sound very close to this. Her voice was a little more husky but she didn't sound much different from the MLIYL era. This was an amazing performance for the state of her voice. She still sounded better than a lot of artist.

Yes she sounds different but it wasn't to the point where she was unrecognizable. A 96-98 to Whitney doesn't sound like the bodyguard years Whitney either. Moral of the story is that she should have stopped smoking and gotten herself together.

She had such talent, skill, technique, power and musical intelligence & emotion in such abundance, she could spend it at will on a soft phrase here, a time shift there, a coloratura flourish on top, all of it as if improvising and making it all up in her head on the spot. A once in a generation singer. Little wonder, Park Hyo Shin, who admired her greatly, fashioned his cover of this song in her idiomatic style.

She is so amazing the damn camera man can’t hold the camera still. The industry and everyone around Whitney and her daughter did her so dirty! I was so heartbroken when I heard she died. Whitney gave her all always! Nobody can match her talent or passion. Even in poor health (not poor enough to die) she gave 💯 percent more than today’s artist. Never forgotten and never ungrateful for what you gave Whitney thank you.

7:39 - 4:46 ~ Even way past her prime, Whitney Houston continued to teach all singers how to sing well with actual examples, singing 100% LIVE like a legitimate legend. Her mastery of what one can do with the human voice was truly a once in a lifetime gift that could have only come from God. For that - and so many other reasons both tangible and intangible, I believe that Whitney Houston was, is, and always will be The Greatest Voice of All.

God is so merciful, she was given a second chance to show and prove God works and is in control of miracles. Her life is a testimony and remember we have a purpose that's planted and rooted in each of us. My belief is when we have struggled, fought and endured life's challenges are mission is completed.
We have lost a great soul, but as her fans she showed us and shared with us the greatest comeback through all her trials and tribulations. Don't be defeated and die trying, rather than to not try at all. Be the best you. Enjoy every moment. Whitney rest and have eternal peace. We love you.

Did anyone ever consider that maybe the world simply didn't deserve Whitney Houston anymore... look how her so called fans in Australia acted after 1 bad show, disgusting. She needed love & support, not scorn, insults, & judgment- she dedicated her life to entertaining us

People in Australia paid good money for a show, not to play therapist to the talent. If she couldn't deliver she should have cancelled

Una cantante immensamente meravigliosa in tutto ma devastata dalla droga e dai proprio errori. Probabilmente è stata la voce più bella del pianeta.

This why I had so much respect for Whitney, for the fact that even when her powerful voice wasn't there, she still managed to sing in a different key and still managed to deliver. That's something these new age singers in our era will never manage to do.

Unfortunately, this wasn't one of her best performances; however, I feel to myself that overall Whitney Houston was a vocal prodigy. Her voice is the platinum standard of what a woman's voice should be. Whitney's rendition of the star spangled banner is noted by critics as being the definitive version of the national anthem in history of the song. There aren't enough superlatives to describe how awesome Whitney was. I love the way she sung live. ( UA-cam her song "This Day" and her performance at the AMA's where she sung I love You Porky, And I am Telling You, and I Have Nothing consecutively without wavering in pitch), I'm supremely confident that you will be impressed. She was the rare artist who could interpret a live vocal performance in a million different ways and make it sound better than the studio version. Her ability to play with melody was underrated genius. Listening to her sing was pure ambrosia. Whitney Elizabeth Houston was a "Tour De Force" and left an unmatched musical legacy
