I use My Pepe Tools Jump Ring Maker for Sterling and Argentium Rings. I use the Ring Maker to Make Oval' Rings also, Just solder and use Parallel Pliers to flatten them out. Great Tutorial Too!

Awesome video. Thank you. Is there a trick to picking out the rings after you tumble?????? :)

Kim Lyons i know that some people use a magnet to pick up the shot and leave the silver... but I put it all on a towel and use a pick to dip them up individually because I’m crazy and find it soothing lol!

Thread all the Rings an a Copper Wire and hook the ends of the wire together to make a loop. Use a large gauge wire so the Rings don't slip off. I've used this a lot, works great.

Thanks Roberta, I love your straight forward presentations! You mentioned two sizes of blades, when do you use which? Secondly, up to what gauge can you use this tool? 14 gauge and thicker? Thanks in advance!

Roma Bourne the 1.5” is going to be good for the thicker gauge - let me jump back on tomorrow when I’m at by bench and get you some more detailed answers darlin!

Im going to cut 14 g half round, do u think the coil needs to be annealed prior to cutting?

    • @robertapihl76

Glad you asked! The best thing for any form of metal you’re cutting is for it to be as hard as possible: annealing will soften the metal and that leaves really bad burrs. So don’t anneal, cut as it is 🥰

Nice video! On that dragonscale bracelet, did you solder each ring? If so, I cannot even imagine how much time that must have taken, if not, I would have done the same thing!

I soldered as many rings as I could, and used a speed weave method ;) not all were able to be soldered but I sure tried lol!!

Roberta Pihl well props to you for even trying!!! That just sounds insaine to me haha, it looks like a pretty tight weave by itself, but trying to solder dragonscale, and have it turn out so nice!? You do some really great work!

I don’t have the fordom handle.
I have to earn it, but the economy purchase will do a lot to earn some money.

I bought one for the dremel and was not successful in cutting. I will try to follow your instructions.
