      @@brandon-ty7lh i was nervous, but it went smooth. Definitely getting lost feel was there, but after reaching my destination, i was okay. Before hand, i had to google map,to see the locations just to make sure i am going right. But in the end.. Its self exploration, will get the hang of it, when we start to travel two to three times...

    im 17 and my younger cousin is 14. We're flying domestically by ourselves for the first time. Since I'm the older one, I have to take responsibility for the both of us. Unlucky for me, I have no idea how to go through an airport. The last time I flew was when I was 11 years old, and all I did was follow where my parents went.
    I'm thankful to have stumbled upon this video, this will give me an idea about what to do when I'm already at the airport. Airports are scary especially during this time, so we'll indeed be taking extra safety precautions. Wish us luck guys! Thanks for the info.

      How did your cousin fly without identification

    • @hitormisshuh
      @hitormisshuh 2 роки тому +12

      @@CoolDude-ib1jg oh the flight and the airport part went smoothly.
      here's what happened in our flight:
      when we got off the airport terminal for where our flight was, we went through security. they asked for our id's and some documents. then we placed our belongings in a tray and it went through a conveyor. we went through the metal detector and got our bags back. after that, we went to the check in area. you had to go through a line, and since it's covid, they're making check in's more contactless. so there were machines set up per step. at step 1, you had to fall in line to get your requirements checked again (this includes the covid contact tracing, vaccination card, and etc). then step 2 and 3. there were machines where if you arent checked in yet, you can do that there. then they will print your boarding pass. if you have checked in primarily before you went to the airport, you can skip step 2 and just go straight to printing out your boarding pass and baggage tag. the baggage tag given will be needed on your baggages so that they can be identified esp just in case if they get lost. there are instructions on the tag and you can just put it on your baggages. once you['re done with that, proceed to step 4 where there's a check in counter. the check in counter will weigh your baggages and place them for cargo. they'll ask you questions like "how many bags are yours", "how many people are in this ticket" "are your tickets separate?" and etc. you'll just have to respond to whatever they ask you so that they can input that information for your bags. they also asked for your travel requirements. just show them.
      after that, you can go ahead to the next area. for us, since we're flying domestically, we went to the domestic area (departure). then we went through security again. this time, they had to separate the gadgets and bags. we put all of our gadgets and metals in one tray, and the other tray were our bags. if your bag gets separated from the conveyor, that means, it's not cleared yet. they'll just have to double check what's in it and they'll give it back to you.
      after that security, gather your items and go to the waiting area. make sure to stay near your gate so that you won't miss any announcements and you get there easily. once your flight number is called, go to the gate and show your id and boarding pass. since it was covid me and my cousin waiting for the other people to get on first. we didnt want to be close to anyone.
      after that, you're on the plane flying.
      once you arrive on your destination, depending on the area you're going to, they'll be needing their own requirements as well. for our area, there wasn't much. we just went straight to the area where you pick up your luggage and we went to our chaperone.
      i suggest having all your requirements ready and saved on your phone so that it's easier. i put all of my travel reqs in one album in my photo gallery so that i dont have to keep switching back and forth looking for them.
      you should also include all travel reqs from both where you come from and where you're going to.

    • @hitormisshuh
      @hitormisshuh 2 роки тому +4

      @@breyionyasharahla we were flying domestically, so they didn't need too much requirements such as passports and stuff. they just need an id where they can identify you. school id works. they'll also need your ticket and boarding pass. +other covid requirements such as contact tracing qr codes, vaccination cert or card, and (in our country we have this qr code and document where the gov allows you to travel)called s-pass.

      This video is a summary and skipped important details but they give an important response in all cases which is "do not feel shy. Ask questions". It's even more complicated in some of the biggest airports where there are many check-ins and transportation needed inside the airport. I wish there were some apps that guide you live like a gps telling you where in the airport you at, what you need to do, which direction you should go.

    There are signs EVERYWHERE, it is almost impossible to get lost at an airport, and there is a herd mentality order, where you just know where you are meant to go. One thing that people forget is stocking up on boiled sweets, because there is nothing you can do about compressed ears on a plane, and it's better to just carry some in-case.

    I'm 22 and I wish to travel some where alone but I'm not allowed to :))... and I have never been on a flight. Watching these videos to manifest I guess.

      @@dulceperez1694 domestic means you are traveling inside your country while international means you are traveling to a different country. In international flights you need to check into customs to make sure you can fly to that country. That’s all I know😅
