Seen a lot of questions about why Gunfights feel so awkward right now, and since certain vital shots are now capped with *warzone* health (base and armor) This is mainly why! Thanks for tuning in!
Did you test what you said in this video? Contradicts what TGD and the patch notes say. Patch notes say that BR stats are different from MP stats. On sym you are comparing MP to BR not base health to plate damage.
@austinn5877 im comparing base health to armor plates, and the patch notes say armor damage is what will make a difference on gun's ttk, which is whats being shown here
That’s not how Sym works. That’s not what you are comparing.
Three icons on the left are MP, HC, BR. Big difference if you are comparing MP to BR.
@@austinn5877 point of certain weapons being nerfed to the point of little to no headshot multi is the main focus is still in effect regardless. Its a weird system that nerfs long range probably too much for most players
The shooting range should let you add plates to the dummies. That way you can test guns for wz.

Literally nothin was wrong with the damage system from the first warzone…nothin…u would think in year 3 they would properly know how to run warzone and they keep taking steps back
They slowed the ttk
Long range engagements are ruined with this TTK buff. Close to medium range is fine but every gun feels like a hit marker machine at long range unless the enemy is literally standing still. As a casual player of the game it’s a disappointing and a unnecessary change.
You casuals are the ones who asked for a slower ttk, reap what you sowed
@@nickalexcage It’s the pro players and the streaming nerds who have been consistently complaining and wanting the TTK to be longer. The TTK was perfectly fine before they changed it.

This system is a joke. WZ1 had it much more streamlined, even with Iron Trials. If they were planning on doing this, they should have explained it in much more detail. Also, a movement buff to counteract “slower” TTK would have been much appreciated.
Keep being the GOAT. Can’t wait for the next COD. Hopefully it’s better overall (lower than low expectations).
@@jakesmith5952, because having a slower TTK and slow movement makes the game feel, well, slow. We need something more in terms of speed.
I'm pretty sure extending the TTK is to counter the slower movement.
I think you misunderstood. In WZ, the „armour damages“ are the new damage values overall. It’s not a min/Max armour damage but an overall min/max
its the same system as before updated to be less transparent.
Now the game has truly gotten rid of the skill gap, before the update if I was attacked and only left with one plate, I could break a camera and kill the enemy through headshots. I don’t agree with any of the changes made in the past season. I can only dread to think of ranked where people hold hands religiously. Disappointed.
Higher ttk is better
this can’t be true… before the update the moment you got you got shot you instantly would die, Especially in ranked. Now they’re giving players the opportunity to react.
This update legit makes a skill gap lol you can legit 1v 4 now with ease with the ttk update. There is a skill gap now big time
@@qsgslamsI just got killed while crossing the street to do a regain buy back. This ttk is a joke. They should just revert the change. I die in that situation on both TTKs, the lower one with fast regen is more fun

The increase health (we all asked from day 1) makes Warzone 2 way better.

Feel like most of the time I’m dying faster than the person I’m in a fight with. Got shots on someone before they see me and they turn as me kill me faster than anything. It’s stupid

Personally, I’m winning WAY more gun fights, and the gun fights are so much funner because they draw out a little longer.

Hey Zack, can you look into this problem that’s happening in DMZ lately? I’ve been having this problem in DMz ever since season 4 started. I’ve been noticing that tons of weapons in my contraband stash and in my key stash are randomly disappearing. Yesterday my friend had both of his only two skeleton keys that he got from missions just disappear on him. I have yet to see anyone talk about this problem but I really hope it gets fixed because it’s a pretty bad one.
I just started playing wars on after a few months off. I am so glad they got rid of the plate vest
i was using the kastov74 in the range and i wasn't getting dmg nor hits on legs went ingame an it did the exact same thing, switched to the m4 an it was fine in range and ingame, went back to the kastov74 an it was still not giving me dmg nor hits on legs, either this game really is rigged or its just the weapon

I think this is done on purpose so we as a community (with the help of Immortal and others like him) have to figure things out so we don't have meta weapons out the gate. With Trial and error, these things get figured out in time.

A 2 sided range left no plates right with plates would help a lot with this. Mobile had a range that showed damage rates and impacts on target that told you

So is it better to have a gun with a high fire rate as if its capped then ur hitting more capped shots than a slower firing powerhouse therefore more damage?
completely depends on the gun tbh, some really suffer here because theres no reward to good aim

So aim for the stomach to make sure u hit every bullet until u get an armor break

I like the new ttk it's good! But it still makes no sense at times like don't know if it's still the bad servers or something or bad hit detection but sometimes barley missing like all uppers chest and head and then I watch the kill cam and dude litterly missing 80% his shots aim all over the play hitting some shots on the lower body legs and stuff and somehow still wins it's just hilarious 😂😌

I don’t know why they changed so much staff from WZ1 and after like 8month they basically made TTK ,movement etc more similar to what we had in wz1😂 I guess when mw3 came out,everything in wz2 would be like identical to what we had in end of wz1 lol.

The thing I hate about this is it hurts good players that can consistently hit upper chest, neck and headshots and rewards the lower skilled players that just spray and pray. I’m not a fan. And I say that as a casual player.

Like if you look at the razorback compred to the other guns on the in game graph it looks so weak but in game it’s better than pretty much everything right now. It can be very misleading. The app you use definitely doesn’t lie and gives us all that information, I’m not saying the app is wrong.
Edit:I’m basically saying you need to look at your website graphs to figure out what’s good and what isn’t and before this update I felt like you could’ve figured shit out just with the in game ones.

The sniper rifles suck now too. I land upper body shots and head shots in DMZ and the rifle does crap to the bots.

That is very cool website and very informative on learning how to build better weapons, but would somebody please explain to my computer illiterate self as to how weapon tuning effects these numbers
sym doesnt have weapon tuning involved in their numbers, but from what we've gathered as a community testing, tuning is for the most part, a gimmick that makes very small differences

new ttk's are trash.....18 bullets to kill at range with some Ar's is so stupid. No point in shooting at anyone over 40-50 meters since your shooting marshmellows and the enemies can just get away no problem.
Can we all just accept they are screwing with us? They had a license to print money by just refining wz1... hell I'd have loved a blackout system put into place over the mess they've given us. I'm not even bad at the game, regularly getting 10+ kills, but I just don't enjoy the game. If it wasn't for the group of lads I play with, it'd be deleted.
First time in 3 seasons I've enjoyed this game again, I think this updates been a massive W. Campers will hate it though lol
I love the new slower TTK. Gives you a chance to fight back when there is a sneak attack. Plus, it looks like we are now going to run AR's built like SMG's with LMG's for our loadout.

the patch notes say the majority of weapon adjustments are because of the armor damage system, its still there

so basically i should aim at somebody for 7 seconds with mouse without aim assist great. If i aim in the head and he aim with controller in feet probably i will lose . That will made the skill gap real ! GREAT changes.....
So if you don't have plates you are dead in a quarter of second lol.
values will actually remain the same with flesh, but headshot/upper body shots are less rewarding with this "armor damage" change

If you think cheaters have it bad you’re incredibly out of touch with the guy, the cheater can select where he locks on and he will always shoot better than you, the changes hurt regular players not cheaters.

@@WhosImmortal many times happened to me and my friends already. Latency jumps up or fps drops. I play on ps5 with 1440p120fps and have 1000/100 fibre connection. Still total crap. Few times servers are ok. I live in finland. Maybe my region is too far from stable servers
