its crazy to think how nerfed the space marines are after the reforms. This one relatively minor engagement threatened to annihilate the chapters entire fighting force. Pre Horus heresy, it probably would not have taken more than a single legion to convert the tau species into a blue stain on the floor.
Technological regression, eroded logistical capabilities, and limited deployment numbers all weaken the chapters compared to the legions. 1000 marines of pre heresy deployment ability would be more capable than 1000 m41 firstborn marines. Maybe not primaris or post ultima founding chapters.

(Had I known that it has so many chapter names, I probably skipped this one for some other time 😅.)
The moment I heard Kriegs I couldn't help but smile. *Happy gasmask noises*
A genuine thank-you for your work. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this 👍
Am I wrong or are you always trying to hold back laughter whenever you do the servitor voice? 😂
lol
You the man ABPrince!
cheers dude
I have to be sitting up to finish any of these or working. I fall asleep if I’m laying down in like 10 minutes. I love this shit
Tau’va gue’la this is some good shit
Thank god! I was getting worried, I ran out of aborderprince content also, first
your first is noted
My boy is back!! Loved your take on the bada war! Also boarded prince 👑 I downloaded all the siege of terra books so far. Finished the solar wars, and on chapter 6 of the lost and dammed, my god the solar wars was good, but Jesus the lost and dammed is amazing!!!! Getting better every chapter
That actually was the last thunderbolt to leave... sorry about that ;)
The first intervention by Captain Armaros and his company of the Avenging Sons has a serious Black Hawk Down vibe to it. It even sounds like Gothic Serpent with the Tactical Marines setting up the roadblocks like the Rangers, while the 1st Company and Assault Marines acted as the Delta Force strike group going after a "high value target". It apparently went about as well as Gothic Serpent did too.
How did I not see this channel before? Subbed 100%
UA-cam doesn't like abp for some reason. Probably because of sargon.
Gustavus Adolphus, the lion from the north, the first king of the swedes out of the Kalmar union, a national hero of his people, a beloved king and a brilliant tactician and strategist on the battlefield. he changed the way how Europeans fought their wars back then at his time...
Ummm....cool.
What does the 30 years war have to do with 40k.
@@LSgaming201 the guy in charge of the invasion is clearly named for/based on him
The writer of this conflict must have really hated masonry.
What makes you say that?
'They are prey, nothing more… This upstart Tau must learn their place. Not trespassing in the Imperium, but in their grave’ Sergeant Cato Sicarius, during the First Damocles Crusade, during the Battle of Vespetin.
Just came across you mate . Outstanding efforts , has inspired me to start playing again after 16 years thanks !
lol nice, but you should play lord of the rings its a superior ruleset
@@ABorderPrince are you Sean Pertwee in disguise?!
Doing the Emperor's work yet again ABP
cheers
Imagine being some poor low level governors assistant hiding in the room where the terminators teleport in.
Talk about overkill!
The tau practice ' togetherness"
Any of you found the spacemarine assault on the governer a tad.. overkill?
Not for the Imperium. Remember the first option was the Officio Assasins lol.
Typicall spacemarine attack plan: Use maximum force and forget sneakeness, cunning and over all common sense.
Counting on surprises WITH A BATTLEBARGE IN ORBIT. Sure, that will work.
Counting on the low quality of your enemy. That's a beginner's mistake. But these are spacemariens, so they have a point.
Why not modify a freighter to lunch droppots?
Nothing space marines do is ever overkill.
@@unclesam1756 is that because overkill is a moot concept when everything they do is overkill?
@@julonkrutor4649 well... There is always the Raven Guard
I’m a simple man, when I see a new video I Like it.
cheers man
The evil British accent while narrating the casual genocide of the Taros tribals is perfect
Lol

This was 3 hours of awesome! Been loving your videos so far prince keep it up brother!
i fell asleep to some random gaming video, I was surprised when I woke up at 2.am to this video.
this is cool, it actually goes into the infrastructure of 40k which i was not aware even existed...
Supportive Comment
Nice! Thank you dear narrator, for your, impeccably amazingness. So glad i found your channel
Love these long pieces. You do them so well. Cheers
I went to sleep and found this on and finished it when i woke up
12:00 holy crap I'm sure that picture was taken not far from where I live.
It looks like New Mexico
Maybe I just googled desert tbh
This is superb, great work! Only thing scarier than a Tyranid is the Imperial Command Structure!!!!
I have been waiting for this one. Hopefully the Damocles Crusade is on the list too.
that it be
I woke up thinking I was listening to a John Hurt Audio Book
Surprisingly to me many say this
I love how this all started because they needed to put more troops and guns on Cadia.
I would be genuinely curious if we could crowd fund a writer for GW who’s single and only job is to make data charts, reports and other fluff for the imperium. Be kinda interesting to sit down on the warhammer app and read some of these documents
I like the screen saver style pictures on this one. I know you don't really need visual for audiobook sometimes when I'm not doing nothing and listening instead of listening while I work.. I dunno know it's just kind of nice.
I hope you make these videos forever. Best channel on UA-cam!
The Tau is one miracle tech away from checkmating the imperium for good in my mental fan fiction
I feel like you’re always trying to hold back laughter whenever you to do a servitor voice.
A comment helps the algorithm =)
Taros...I mean it sounds like it sucks...but it seems like it sucks a lot less than other worlds in the Imperium.
AND THEN THE TAU ARRIVED.
The planet grows soy.
No wonder the Tau wanted it...
Well said...
Wow, you are serious underrated
500th comment on this video and I'm wishing prince a happy neophyte and home.
Also 1:14:00 when you absolutely have to slaughter everyone in the leadership you teleport 5 terminators in
These books always spark off my imagination great work and a perfect voice for storytelling thanks
I love these episodes they are amazing
Cheers
At least I have this to make this day better, thank you abp I needed this.
