The XV8 is the workhorse of the T'au Empire in lore if not on tabletop, in order to achieve the rank of Shas'ui (basically a Seargent) you need 4 years of experience and to pass the requisite trial by fire, this is also true for XV25 Stealth Suit teams. Assuming that only 1 in 10 succeed in either of these suggests that on a T'au world with a population of 1 Trillion assuming an equal split in the population of the five castes (The most unreasonable statistic here given that Fire and Earth caste individuals canonically have a higher population that the air and water castes not to mention the Ethereals.) 1 Trillion divided by 5 is 200 Billion, 200 billion divided by 10 is Twenty Billion so at minimum that one world has twenty billion soldiers qualified to operate an XV8 and considering how important they are to T'au doctrine you'd better believe they have those suits on hand, hell even if they could only equip half their qualified pilots with an XV8 that's still 10 BILLION suits. How many Space Marines are there in the galaxy again? 1 million? 2 if we're being REALLY generous. And they typically come to battle at company strength (if that) and rarely at full chapter strength so for a codex compliant chapter that's 100 marines of 1000 total (happy to see guilliman agrees the codex needs some updates) Yeah the Imperium can TOTALLY take the T'au empire you guys it'd only need like, 5 chapters of space marines and a couple billion guardsmen NO WORRIES right?

Better in every way than the Xblahblah, which is better EVEN than the Xp87, which IS TWICE THE SIZE and power as the other suit, WHICH IS THE ELITEST, POWERFULLYEST BESTEST EVAR!
Which reminds me of THE NEWEST Astartes models, who are EVEN BETTEREST than THE BESTEST, which, ofcourse, being itself, plunged it into a recursive loop, SWALLOWING OLD GODS AND NEW, which is ok i guess.
Oh, AND it's INCREDIBLY RAAAARE (which make it VAAAAUABLE) so it is naturally BETTER (Not AT ALL an indication of it being a poor fit and phased out). If you have something SO GOOOOD you wouldn't make more than three, right?
Is this what an AI having a mental breakdown looks like?
Tau are possibly even more horrifying than any other faction. Psychic Clockwork Orange communists. Love em.
are you seriously telling me that living in the scary commie Tau empire is a worse proposition than living as an underhive dweller? lmfao. Jesus, yall are so scared of what you think you know about a political economic arrangement
Wit bout dem gurlz? Sey now da custodians
13:55 helldivers lol?
Does the AI Narrator have a name?
Somethings not right, these guys developed as a species way too quickly. Them Ethereals are acolytes for something sinister.
Everything in 40K isn't right.
O wisest of Scholars, why do the Tau choose to name their battlesuits using Earth letters and numbers?
The Tau hired some guy named James Workshop to make up the names
Translation Convention? In-universe, they could very well be labeled “Ahks-Veth Shessa” Battlesuits for all we know. 🤷♂️
Tau can speak Gothic so its likely ambassador told them their names in Gothic and they have tau names in their own language
Star Trek fans in the distant future be like
I love how most people don’t even realize that the Tau’s "greater good" is no better or less authoritarian than the "imperial truth".
Nobody cares when one provides bread and safe place to sleep and the other makes you a servitor.
@@Rssika considering that the imperium of man is thousand and thousand of billions living soul strong, one can only assume that people are fed wouldn’t you think?
@@simonbrosseau1783 Wow, corpse starch. Great.
"Hey do your best to do the best for the whole" vs "If you stand at the wrong place you will be lobotimized or killed"
@@CyrodiilCome Exactly. Being tau empire citizen or maybe living in human enclave in squat space is probably the best deal baseline human can have in 40k, bar none.
this... sounds almost like admiration...
could the venerable scholar have turned to heresy?
I shall inform the nearest arbites posthaste!
Is that background music from RE4??
Not quite the save room ambience
Less ads please man I'm trying to sleep.

Ethereals are necrons that have reverted back to flesh
How do you build a fission reactor powered battlesuit and not account for all the fucking radiation. That’s a comically massive oversight.
Skitarii: Cries in binary.
Warp reinforcement
Damn, that's a lot of commies in this comment-section. Even unironically thinking Tau are the good guys, even when we know what farsight etc. learned😂
Space commies 😂
