  • It's often recommended that you reduce protein intake in your diet if you have H2S SIBO. And there is some valid science behind this! High protein diets do appear to increase Hydrogen Sulfide production from the gut microbiome. But, is this the only thing we should be focused on? Of course not! ;) In this video, I'll show you the science of why you DON'T need to do a low protein diet, after all!

Still with meat also comes saturated fat which feeds h2s awell. So perhaps lean meats are a better option

Total mindfulness of the MMC and adhering to Ayurvedic principles, that I recently learned, regarding balancing my dosha (pitta) and food combinations (what you eat at the same time) has *_completely_*_ solved my bloating and gas problems!_ I've been on this healing journey over a year, fasting and eating clean and am at my all-time lowest weight (I'm 52 and I'm high school weight) at 104 lbs (5'2" and muscular build) but still had bloating and assumed I had SIBO. Nope. I was just eating too often and in the wrong food combinations. NOTHING causes a problem for me, anymore! They were red herrings!

Lol that shirt is amazing! What are your thoughts on food combining? AKA not combining protein with starches in the same meal.

So what about a person that has really bad severely gut due to cipro antibiotics and Advil use and they have h2s at the same time trying to heal the gut and intestines. Evidently carnivore and keto or are out of the picture. Adrenal fatigue also an issue

Dr! Question, is Sunfiber good for Candida/mold? I need a fiber but I don’t want to feed the bad stuff in me!

    VEGETABLES destroyed my gut !!!!

I would say to any one thinking of going vegan. Don't. I did it because I have cancer for the second time. And I have been I'll for 42 years, with all kinds of health issues. But I have lost three stone going vegan. For two years I have had to go back to eating animal products. But I'm bloated and inflamed all the time. I never knew plants were toxic. I would love to hear what happened to you.

This makes no sense. There is literally no good reason to think veggies are the problem here. Or grains.

@@Sharetheroad3333 I think you should do some research. You should read a book called toxic super foods. By Sally Norton. MPH. Plants are toxic when eaten in large amounts. Spinach and almonds eaten in large amounts causes oxlates, than can poisen you. Pulses and chich peas can cause leaky gut, by damaging the vile in your intestine. This can cause gut permeability. Allowing toxins to get into your blood stream. I have spent many hours researching. Some people are lucky to get away with it. But if you read other people's story's of ex vegans. A lot of them has ended up with gut issues. So you are either not vegan or you are one of the lucky ones.

I would respectfully disagree as many vegetables are high in oxalates which can irritate joints via inflammation. See Sally K Norton’s book on Toxic Superfoods
