YAY!! Thank you for watching another lengthy video of me looking through my old art! As you can see I went through some...phases. SORRY FOR not uploading in a long time! One day I'll be able to give all my attention to UA-cam but unfortunately I don't have that luxury yet. Thank for for being so patient with me...WELL hope to make part 3 soon! Love You!!

This isn't related to sketchbooks, but can't you relate to when you create a character and you make them SUPER in depth, and you write a 3 page essay on them, but once you create their friends or the rest of the cast you're like "Screw it." and make all the other characters one-dimentional? So then you have one fully fleshed out character and the rest are stereotypes? Is that only me?
Fanceh Mudkip That's why I never make the first character the Protag. Forces me to round and flash everyone else out. It helps because my story gets better that way when I add internal conflict.
Keep it simple But Bearly That's some good advice actually..

I usually make two that are good and bounce of each other well, but then whenever I try to make a third character they feel like a third wheel and I struggle to give them their own character.

Shiroyasha 白夜叉 Vance got into a fight with Luca and was about to kill him, but Papaya got in the way. Vance stabbed Papaya, leaving him dead, everyone else who knew Papaya devasted, and Luca utterly heartbroken. And Vance didn't even care.
can you please do a "how to draw humans" or some tutorial video about human anatomy?

I absolutely adore the amount of love that is so clear in your voice when you talk about the creation of your characters. I'm not familiar with your story, but it's very apparent that from this video alone that you have a lot of passion for your stories and characters. Can't wait to see more from you!
It's nice to see more of your old art and how it's evolving and becoming more relevant to your art now! I love these videos! ❤ I'm a 16 year old junior now, so I feel the pain you felt a while back (It's so much work LOL). 😂 At the time (2012 or maybe 2013) I would've started drawing during my time in 7th grade, however art is a hobby more than anything else. Still, if I saw how your art back then, you could've been one of my inspirations to draw! 😱😁

Honestly, I still kinda like your chibi style in 2012. I reminds me of creepy dolls or like Coraline's mom. But still it's super cool and I kinda want to try it, since I haven't seen anyone else do that with chibis yet.

This is absolutely insane. Your old sketchbooks remind me so much of my old ones- same type, bulky af with stickers and filled with my dork demon characters and self-sona. x3 Even the way I drew mine were the same as yours. I was heavily influenced by Aishaneko, and drew so much fan art of Skye for her. I drew my ocs in the same style as yours, with the same visual kei-ish hair, drawn in different vocaloid songs too. Mostly gumi and luka songs like poker face and panda hero was my shit. Damn, I gotta start drawing the shiz I like again.

All of my characters have come from a series of dreams, in the same spot, starting with my first Oc not very original and literally last night i had a dream of my most recent lil girl named winter. I normally in the dream sit down with the character in the forest, and ask a lot of questions like sexuality age full name birthday etc. So when i go to bed i usually leave my sketchbook by my bed so i can write/ draw about the 'newbie' when i awake. this is problematic because i usually get like 2 new characters a month and go through a lot of paper, as time goes on the 6/1/?? of every year i narrow down the Ocs to the best five newbies, from this i have gotten full family's of characters

Ahh! I loved matryoshka so much when I was younger
One of the kids I was babysitting woke up while I was watching this so I let her watch the rest of it with me and she said "Woah she draws so good!" and then I proceeded showing her more of your videos instead of making her go back to bed whoooopss
You're art is amazing back then too. I experience the whole getting lazy as you go along. Before in art I would do very long and detailed drawings. And now it's just doodles and cartoons
