This vehicle is a win. Yeah, it's bigger but no MINI will ever be too big. If they could somehow get this motor into the Hatch, it would give the Civic Type R a run for the money. And if they manage to make a JCW ALL4 Hatch? Golf R and GR Corolla would be moot.
I really wanted the JCW this time around but the dash patterns are a little too much for me. Same with the price. For my taste and budget, I decided to put a deposit on the Countryman S with the favored pkg. As far as the SE the range is still where I don't feel comfortable as it should at least have for 300 miles. That will be something I will wait for MINI to catch up on.
what's the point of a JCW that's so insulated that you don't hear the engine? Turn off the "active sound"....so you mean the fake engine sound....LOL and only comes in automatic? what a FAIL

The Countryman JCW has been auto only since 2019 when it went from 231 to 306 HP.
