RIDE SAFE
I have the R1200GS oil/air cooled as well as the R nineT. The GS for long trips and the R.nineT for hooning around back roads. If i just want to go for a quick ride, my hand goes for the R nineT's key every time. Ive had many bikes in the last 36 years and this is by far the most fun bike I've owned. BMW got this one right.

I appreciate you stating the fact you are 6’4 I am as well and was a little skeptical on getting it because I’m tall, but I have not once hear you complain about it being uncomfortable or anything of the sort so thank you for that. I’m going to proceed on getting this bike as my first bike. Thanks alot bro!
For a first bike it is a lot of power, might want something smaller to start, or make sure to keep it in rain mode for a while. Be safe!

Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think this bike has electronic suspension…
I actually think you are correct, I went off what I was told...but the manual doesnt say that it has this. Thank you for pointing that out!

Good review, I was hesitating between this bike (this exact version) and my Triumph Bobber for my first bike. After 1 year riding my Bobber, I am still watching videos of this bike :) Don't get me wrong, I really love my Bobber, but man I would love to get a 2nd bike one day and this one would be it :) The only negative aspect for me for this bike was higher seat (I'm 5'-6") no fuel gage (unless they changed it for the 2022 or 23) and the price $$
Still no fuel gauge .... it's the let down about this range and stops the sale's
It’s annoying but is it a deal-breaker? I always zero a trip every time I fill up anyways, and of course there’ll be a low fuel light. Not having cruise was a deal-breaker for me, addressed since the ‘21 models 👌
It's a motorcycle, not a car.
Those look as boring and bland as their cars. Gimme an inline 4. Or even several of the twins (exc. Harleys).
