@@CarnageUndone not only that but it also protects the defender as well it’s been shown that defenders also get concussions and career ending head injuries from smacking the crown of their head into shoulder pads, helmets, etc…there’s no where for your head to move from a jolt like that inside that helmet…
the targeting call that you are talking about that is your choice to make if you hit high to cause a scramble or potentially a fumble then thats the risk you take you can always go for a mid tackle and still get the down facts its not soft you can cause some serious injuries from a tackle like that which is the crown as you already know dont say no when clearly it is a targeting penalty
The only way you're going to get them to keep their head up. Is to give consequences that matter. It has been almost fifteen years since the rule has been implemented.
You're so focused on the first angle of the targeting call you missed the second shot shows him hit him the crown of helmet right in the ear hole.
I get what ur saying but I still think a player shouldn’t be ejected for a targeting call

@@AnthonyKagegariVT yeah I just don’t know what that dude is thinking not having a targeting pony. It is insane.

Just an FYI, these are Big 12 refs
They made the second half so boring. At the very least, half of those flags shouldn't have been thrown on either team.
Refs wanted to make the game close but they had to make calls on Colorado or they would’ve needed the secret service to escort them out lol
I agree but target is the rule now softer than a fresh roll… hockey doesn’t have these rules
Big ten not 12
