- The biggest story of the 2023 college football season was undoubtedly the Colorado Buffaloes led by Deion Sanders. Behind the strong play of Deion's son Shedeur, the Buffaloes shocked the world by upsetting TCU in their first game and starting the season 3-0. Despite their strong start, the Buffs couldn't maintain their momentum and would eventually finish the season 4-8. Honestly I'm happy that Colorado won that game(nothing but love to TCU by the way) but as time went on seeing Colorado getting all hype up. Okay now people taking it too far as if this team would finish in the Top 10!

Funny, because Northwestern was also 1-11, had a scandal, lost a ton of talent, their head coach resigned right before the season, and had a better turnaround in the Big 10 to the point where they win a bowl game against a good Utah team.

But after everything Northwestern went through with the scandal and the resignation of one of their best coaches ever, I'd say that was a damn good turnaround that should be talked about more.
As a colorado fan. I cannot overstate how bad we were in 2022. I mean this we might have been one of the worst teams in the last decade like absolutely putrid. I hate to admit this but there was one game i watched the first quarter and decided to turn off the tv. This team made me feel things. We were lucky to get one win that year. God bless the cal cause that year would have been in the pits of hell if we didnt win that game. While there is a lot to be said about deion and the colorado and the hype around it. I think what is more important is the feeling around the program in whicb there is life. People discuss the team and man that feels good as colorado football has been irrelevant for past decade since we made the pac 12 chanpionship game in like 2014. There are aspect i wish we did different. Dont really like warren sapp on a personal level. That being said i am excited and can't wait to watch the games. People have an opinion on colorado which is kinda fun as a colorado fan.

As an Oregon State fan, I'm glad that Oregon was the first team to beat Colorado. I remember the responses that came from that Oregon-Colorado game and thinking after the Beavers beat Colorado "good thing the Ducks were the first loss, so we don't have to deal with that crap".

I miss 2019 college football. I know a completely different topic, but 2019 was amazing. There weren't that many annoying bandwagons. Yeah, Clemson had bandwagons, but Clemson isn't a bad college. I kinda like them, but Georgia, Colorado, and Alabama fans are annoying especially these pass couple of years it's crazy how everyone becomes a fan than they just move around due to the best teams I stick with the college I like no matter where I live or what the best team
Life long Buff fan…we made a dumpster fire look good in 2022. CP is great…casual fans can’t appreciate how big of a jump he made Boulder. We should be MUCH better this season.

I'm a server at a sports bar and for those 3 weeks before the Oregon game. All I heard was talk talk talk 'Put on the Colorado game' or 'I wanna see Coach Prime' and verbatim I said "We're gonna see exactly what this Colorado team is when they play Oregon or USC"
I don't hate Colorado or the players...but never have I been so happy to see a team get railroaded by 36 to shut up the media and those fans up...who got really quiet after those two games exactly...

The first two games will determine how the season goes. NDSU is always a tough FCS school to play and Nebraska is better than they were in that game last year. Could very easily drop both and sprial to another 4-8 year

CU is ranked that highly in CFB 25 because CFB 25 uses PFF ratings to score their players and that's what the incoming transfers were rated. You should actually look into the transfer class, it's good.

My biggest with sanders is not longer his mouth but how he team builds you win games with your team is basically 8 freshman and 40 guys who played on different team the year before. The portal is good for players but bad for coaches. You need chemistry in college to win title. This isn't the nfl where everyone is the top 1% in the world

Has the overhauled team played a single snap? So if the team has not yet played, what is the basis for that statement? THIS is where prejudice is conceived and born. It is not based on anything rational, substantive, tangible or logical. It is based on an irrational, almost atavistic point of view. Such statements are always inane!
