+Jules Archambault It's because the CPU frequency is throttled down when temperature gets higher to avoid overheating. And that means the performance goes down also.

Never bye Sony smartphone ! I had 2 pcs Sony Xperia Z5 Compact and both had the same fault "proximity sensor". So when taking off from the ear the screen stayed black. Sony couldn't fix the proplem.

The device itself has 720p resolution. But recording 1080p is useful when you send the video to another person that has a smart with FHD resolution.
