"Invalidation" from radfems and lesbians

- I don't like making long videos, especially when all I'm doing is talking. This isn't a very good christmas present :(
But if you want to know how I think transmen should be dealing with ignorance and hate that comes from within the community and from other minority groups striving for the same fundamental respect as we are, this should do the trick.
I have no concrete answers about how to do this though, especially over the Internet, where people tend to be inflamed by the anonymity of online forums, trolling from the relative safety of their computer room.
Anyway, I won't blame anyone for not being able to get through this one. I might try to summarize my thoughts on this, sometime in the future...

My mom says things like that comment to me. I'm 15, transman, and not allowed to come out because of her. I love her and I want to show her compassion, but it's extremely difficult sometimes. This video was really helpful. :) Thanks

this is a great video. I reposted it to my tumbler blog that I made to help support transmen and support the beauty of us. I have seen the hate blogs, most the time I just go past them. I do on occasion reply and always keep reasonable and kindly. Keep the good things happening.

honestly i think alot of radfems just generally hate everybody except other radfems, including us mtf's. because they give almost everybody crap, about almost aything
As a former radfem I can absolutely confirm this. As I started to question small parts of feminist theory I lost all of the people in that community who claimed to be my friends. Just to be clear I'm still a feminist and I'm sure many people would call me radical... But those people do not like me at all. 🤣🤣
Who are you to say 'claiming that you've always felt like a man makes no sense'?! How do you know how other people felt? Just because YOU never felt like a man doesn't mean it's the same for everyone. I've never seen an FTM vid where the person claims that anyone who likes masculine things MUST be trans.

Hi. Do you have any further thoughts on this topic now? I am very interested in reaching out to trans men and getting their perspective not on transness but on broader gender politics, and in particular the way that feminists* vilify and invalidate male and female transsexuals.
* Obviously with this term I am referring to the body of ideologues who use this label, and hate "patriarchy" so much that anyone who has identified as male past or present is an oppressor, etc. It goes without saying that "dictionary feminists" (i.e. people who are for equality, as the dictionary tells us) wouldn't do this.

I disagree there's no such thing as the patriarchy to being with so us responding negatively to insults from lesbians is not us being part of the patriarchy, we shouldn't insult back because we shouldn't stoop to their level, we need to be good people and respond in a non-angered way without throwing around insults.
