I worked as an assistant at the studio where J Cole made 2014 Forrest Hills Drive. He was hands down the nicest 'celeb' I met during my time there. I got to see him many times over those four months and on every occasion he was always warm, kind and respectful to staff. His whole crew was also super friendly too. I remember hearing Wet Dreams in it's creation stage and thinking "damn this songs gonna be huge" lol. Those fellas worked 24/7 on making that album, I learned what true work ethic was in the studio by seeing that. Loved this doc, great work!

He has never leaned in on the Jay z/rocnation godfather image behind his scene like Kanye did.... Infact, he actually kept away from the label in his most recent released albums with little album promo from the elite music and marketing company Rocnation/livenation... leaning more to his self created label, Dreamville as his main promoter.... Rocnation actually hyped Meek Mill more since his prison release than their most successful label artist with six number 1 realsed albums nearly all of them going platinum(yeah, Cole has been more commercial successful for Roc than Jay Z himself).
This got recommended to me around 2 hours after it dropped. Saved it to my watch later, got recommended around 7 times again. I'm starting to wonder why I didn't watch it because this is one of the best videos I've watched on YT, and I watch videos like this all the time. The editing went so hard, it made me startup Da Vinci Resolve and see how rusty I've gotten at editing. It's surprising one 300k people have watched this, it deserves more attention.

This got recommended to me around 2 hours after it dropped. Saved it to my watch later, got recommended around 7 times again. I'm starting to wonder why I didn't watch it because this is one of the best videos I've watched on YT, and I watch videos like this all the time.
