It's funny how he was so down on himself. Meanwhile, when it came out the audiences were roaring about, "THE HOT SHERIFF! HE'S THE BEST!!" Rahul gained a whole new fanbase because of that show.
MIDNIGHT MASS was a masterpiece. But apparently it was a bit too dense and atypical for most people, so it didn;t do great numbers. It should be winning every TV award on earth right now.
I think it’s marketing wasn’t all there. Cause I remember only seeing an ad for it once. Didn’t even know it was a Mike Flanagan show or I would have watched it ASAP. I barely watched it at the end of 2021 and I absolutely love it and agree that it deserves all the recognition. I tell people all the time they should watch it if they haven’t. Also luckily tons of UA-cam reaction channels are watching it too.
maybe dense for this new generation. this was stephen king light. nothing new . the look of the show is terrible. would love to know what you found masterpiece like about it
Yeah, that show was great. I had never heard of it but just gave it a chance. It was fantastic. The Sheriff role he played really stood out. He did great. A muslim sheriff in a small town filled with christians? That was a cool idea.
I love Rahul. He was so good in that show, and I love his friendship with Funhaus. Him with Jacob Fullerton and Bruce Greene/Alanah Smith doing drunk star wars script recitals showed him happy and at peace so I wish him that
Wow... he is so honest. High respect for Rahul. I fully agree with the interviewer that it was all in his head. And it breaks my heart that he was crying for 2 hours after filming, because he truly was phenomenal in the show.
I was honestly disappointed rewatching the show that Rahul’s character wasn’t in the show MORE. I remember his character’s journey being an integral part to the show’s experience, yet it turns out he’s not in the show nearly as much as I recalled. That really, really shows how fucking excellent his character was. I absolutely love what he contributes to the show and wanted more screen time with the sheriff and his son.
I love this man so much. Genuine bloke! What's funny is that we went back to izombie, after only watching one season, because of him in this role! We thought he was amazing!
HOLY SHIT i’ve never identified with a celebrity more, lol. that pervasive poisonous mindset kept me from pursuing art after college despite friends and teachers told me i had talent, and i’ve always kind of regretted it…
Absolutely WILD that he was determined this was his worst work. I thought he was amazing in it - and it seems so does everyone else! Maybe that doubt and self-hatred and uncertainty played well into his scenes though as his character very much had an air of not wanting to be there and feeling disappointed and at a dead-end with his life and just perpetually frustrated.
I fast forwarded to get to all the scenes with him in the show and the main reason I kept watching. So far my favorite character of his. You are so wrong because you made the show in my opinion and looked hot.
Love Rahul, one thing though to the guy who runs this channel. You have literally some of the worst and most disrespectful thumbnails in history. Do better.
That monologue was the most pointless thing in the whole show. No one asked his character about his upbringing and it just came out of nowhere. I am a person of color, but that scene made me roll my eyes so hard
It didn't come out of nowhere. He was explaining why he won't investigate the church because of how precarious his position in the community was. My favourite line was "I don't intimidate I don't even carry a gun." Yet for some people on the island it still wasn't enough.
He was absolutely fantastic in that show. His final scenes on the beach with his son broke my heart.

I was already a fan of Rahul, but damn man he was impeccable as Hassan. Can't believe he was so down on himself, absolutely crushing to hear that.
Phenomenal performance. Humble to a fault. Need more actors like this.
His character was my favorite. He did such a great job.
I love the Sheriff’s relationship with Joe Collie. He arrested him like every week but they were lowkey buddies.

So unreal. I had no idea who Rahul Kohli was until Midnight Mass. I fell in love with him watching his role
The priest guy was incredibly charismatic, I felt intimidated
Wow... he is so honest. High respect for Rahul. I fully agree with the interviewer that it was all in his head. And it breaks my heart that he was crying for 2 hours after filming, because he truly was phenomenal in the show.
Rahul was the best part of the series

I literally had to make sure he was the same actor because he did so well in this show.
My favorite performance in years
I don't know what he's on about. He's one of my favorite characters in the show. I loved every minute of him!
HOLY SHIT i’ve never identified with a celebrity more, lol. that pervasive poisonous mindset kept me from pursuing art after college despite friends and teachers told me i had talent, and i’ve always kind of regretted it…
You know better now. Moving forward, live your life to the fullest.✌️
Clicked on your channel and saw your Portrait video, you definitely have talent
Why do you presume it's too late to do it now?
It’s so insane how well he acted but he thinks it’s his worst work.
That’s the life of an artist, you never shake it off, you just deal with it daily
DUDE. YOU WAS AMAZING IN MID NIGHT MASS!!!!!

Honest down to earth this guy's you're a awesome dude Ruhul #gives no fuck #the next James Bond#setting the world on fire
His performance was actually great! Sincerely! The accent…. Ehhhhh
But where is the finale to My Summer Vacation?
loved him in midnight mass. his other roles in his career were eh
Damn I can’t believe he thinks it was terrible.
Of course his English, damn his American accent is convincing
Wow
Props to the Islamic consultant foe nailing the accuracy
"I'm not 40, I'm not American, I'm not muslim, I don't have a kid"
Bro, You're an actor lol. You don't need to be any of those things.
Love Rahul, one thing though to the guy who runs this channel. You have literally some of the worst and most disrespectful thumbnails in history. Do better.
You're here to fight😂 haha 👍
That monologue was the most pointless thing in the whole show. No one asked his character about his upbringing and it just came out of nowhere. I am a person of color, but that scene made me roll my eyes so hard
you're either a white person lying that you're a POC or just hate Muslim characters being prominent
he's been dealing with passive racism from the townspeople so he finally exploded a monologue. Still ok and not cringe for me
No one asked you about your opinion either but here we are rolling our eyes at you.
