- After putting on weight for Mike Flanagan's role in Midnight Mass, and then having to shut down production for the pandy, Rahul Kohli was stuck in an unhealthy weight without an idea of when or how he could return to feeling better.

Rahul Kohli (iZombie, Midnight Mass) joins us this week to tell his inspiring story of how a lucky twist of fate, while he was on the brink of quitting acting because of a horrible audition, landed him his life changing role in iZombie. Rahul explains, however. that the onset politics, stress of being on a bubble show, and shooting in Canada caused him to spiral into unhealthy abusive and unhealthy habits. We also talk about his deep relationship personally and professionally with Mike Flanagan, the typecasting of South Asian actors, and his experience being diagnosed with bipolar.

He was 30 lbs heavier in the show?? But he looked “normal”? I found him attractive actually. He was a normal average weight man in the film. So basically he was way too thin before it.
He implies at the end of the segment he ended up losing the weight (or some of it) during the unexpected 5-month break.
he's also 6' 4" so 30lbs isn't as much as it would be for the average person

@@chai_knees3554just 6 foot even here and I can swing from 205 to 235 back and forth pretty easy. And with a beard unless you see me all the time or were at the pool or something you couldn't even really tell that much.
The sheriff was indeed hot! I was confused at first when he was talking about having put on 30 pounds for the role because he looked fantastic in the show. Makes sense that he lost the weight. I actually had sexy dreams about the sheriff when I watched the series…

No, he’s a misogynist and people simply don’t mind because misogyny is a cultural and social norm. Disrespecting and hating women and girls and looking down on them and their interests and not taking their needs seriously is the subconscious cultural norm.

??? He’s cast for roles that the directors and producers think he’s ideal for. They want their show/film to look and be good. All he can do is accept scripts for things he’s being considered for,do a reading so they can see if he is right for the role,and then wait to be told.
