Ole EYEING United Job? Berrada Gives Premier League ULTIMATUM!

- Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said he would "say yes every day of the week" if asked by Manchester United to return to Old Trafford as manager.
Solskjaer, 51, has been out of management since being fired by United in November 2021 after
almost three years in charge having initially been hired as interim manager in December 2018
following the dismissal of José Mourinho.
Although Solskjaer guided United to a second-place finish behind Manchester City in the
COVID-19-impacted 2020-21 season, the former Molde coach was unable to win silverware as
manager and his exit came following a run of six defeats in 11 games in late-2021, including a
5-0 home defeat against Liverpool.
But with permanent successor Erik ten Hag now under increasing pressure at United after just
three wins in eight games this season, Solskjaer has said that he would not rule out a second
stint as manager at Old Trafford if the club make the call.
Ole Quotes:
"If the family [United] asks, I would say yes every day of the week," Solskjaer said in a Q&A at the Oslo Business Forum. "It feels wrong to talk about jobs that other people have now, but I would say yes, of course."
Ten Hag, meanwhile, urged patience from United's supporters in his Thursday news conference ahead of their clash with Tottenham on Sunday.
"Still we are working and progressing, we made a choice to sign very young players," he said. "We believe in them this moment and also for the future.
"We have to build them. That takes time. I am impatient, I want to go straight forward but also we had success in two seasons."
Omar Berrada Statement - Laurie Whitwell:
Manchester United chief executive Omar Berrada has told staff that the aim is to win the Premier League title in 2028, for the 150th anniversary of the club being formed.

When Ten Hag took over, I was convinced that it would take 5 years to rebuild any semblance of consistency and to start challenging for titles. Rangnick stated it would take open heart surgery on the club. Ineos has had one transfer window and there is progression evident in the team and the way that the club does business but I still feel that 5 years to rebuild is not unrealistic. Two trophies in two seasons is a fantastic achievement for the club when you consider where Utd are currently. Our inconsistency is the most frustrating part at the moment

66 people liked a comment above stating "Ole would smash in the new regime". Those 66 people should read this and comprehend this.
78% fans voted for ETH after the FA Cup win, and now see. Fans want direct success, no patience for a process. If anyone has to come with that "But but he spent €600M and it's 3 yrs", this is the 1st season of the new regime. Take a chill, we ain't that bad as the over-reactionary fan and media make it look.
I don’t care what people say. I would love ole back
Ole at tje Wheel!
Talksport and Sky are wetting themselves at the thought of ETH being replaced at United.
For his own sake, Ole needs to be kept away from coming back as manager
Yeah because Ten Hag has been awful.
@jasterogers997 ten hag or the players?
Is it ten hag that puts the ball in the net?
@@ademoyekehinde505 it's Ten Hag that is paid to coach the team to get the players to put the ball in the net.
One game? It's the players. Three seasons? It's the manager.
@@jaserogers997 are you 5?
Ten hag is being paid to bring up a team and tactical set up that allows you create chances. Putting the ball in the net is left to the players.
Ten hag should teach rashford how to take a shot?
Or teach Bruno how to pass the ball?
What are you saying?.... This guys are being paid hella money only to be taught how to score goals like they are in f****king day care?
It's all y'all do, blame the manager
That's all y'all do😂😂🤦
@@ademoyekehinde505why did ten hag buy those players?
The only thing wrong with ten hag is he's too strict and too detailed and there's some players that are too thick undiscplined or to lazy to take it on board, only proper pros will work right for him and the rest won't he's weeding them out slowly and he's bringing 21, patience and trust the plan baby, every doom merchant that follows this fantastic club should wobble off to pepless citeh next summer
Sucsess is erened not given ❤😘😘😘
Facts jarvis they think it be hunky dory new manager 10 years of proof it won't.
Ole was so close to a trophy. He reached the business end of many tournaments, including the borderline business end of the champions league.
It was a fair decision to let him go when it happened. The decline was set and he had lost a handle on things and performances and results were really bad at the end.
Unfortunately for Solskjaer his tenure was mired in inconsistency and an inexplicable change of form from absolute brilliance and unstoppable good form to a seemingly endless run of terrible results.
That said I still think his tenure was my favourite post Ferguson.
Ole is not the best manager post Fergie, its Ten Hag or Mourinho. Ten hags first season got more points than oles second place finish and won a trophy and in our worst ever finish last season still got more points than the Ole/Ragnick season where we finished higher with less points than last season and he won another trophy. this isn't me saying Ten Hag is the right man to take us forward as honestly i don't know, but if football is about winning trophies like i hear so many youtubers and pundits say our best manager post Fergie is either Mourinho or Ten Hag. (Edit - also Oles 3rd place finish was 6 points more than we got last season.)
And people forget how desperating ole ball was at the time, yes when it felt good it felt pretty good, put we couldnt retain posetion or beat low blocks.... same problem as now
Mourinho and Ole are the 2 best managers utd have had since Fergie
@@sagethinker7168 why was Ole better than the other managers in your opinion?
Thank you
Ball knowledge!! Also, during Ole's reign, Big 6 was just Big 6. Newcastle had Shelvey, Brighton had Conolly and Villa were in the Championship. So much context but fans are so blinded, I mean Ole back!? Aren't these the same who literally celebrated our 4-1 defeat at Watford, because Ole was sure to be sacked. Epitome of being fickle minded.
We always came back under Ole. I was never afraid when we went under. We had great spells of form with a mediocre squad. Adaptable, likeable and clever in big games. Ole never stepped a foot wrong. I want him back. With a structure around him he'd absolutely crush it.
That PSG win in CL is the biggest moment post fergie. 2nd and 3rd is huge. Last season cant be ignored, but I dont blame it on Ole.
Don’t forget, city will be in a different division, next year so we should get a place closer to the top!
Ole under a decent structure would be fine. It's always the big question with all coaches since Fergie. How would they have done with a decent structure around them?
I'm loving all the comments from people who haven't got a clue about how the management structure at United is working.
You're all second guessing what's going on and im laughing my ass off at the delusion that you guys think you know anything about the club.
The sacking rumours are ridiculous… ineos have clearly backed ten hag, brought in new assistants to help him, recruited better, we have limited funds to buy, defence got priority, getting a prolific striker is big money we don’t have, still 5/6 first team players to be moved on….. with the amount of changes needed all over team to compete will take another couple years… needs patience ….media agenda and the constant ex players not recognising the size of the task being slowly corrected by ineos……
Ole was doing a good job for the squad he had. Eventually he was led down by poor recruitment from the top. Ole had some prime players when he took over. I think ten Hag had a better first season than any of the seasons with Ole. ten Hag's third place was with 1 more point than Ole did with his 2 place. Ole always had some depth in the squad too. Even if the profiles didn't fit a high risk style of high pressing they tried to implement it in his last season. It didn't work out. Now ten Hag has taken alot more risk and stuck alot more by his principles which is a factor to consider for last seasons events. This is the first season he has some squad depth with the right profiles. We need to be patient with the squad and the manager to start performing with this style. It's not as easy as you would expect. People keep saying Ange made Tottenham play his style in a few games, but people don't really look at their results lately. They were performing well first 15 games or so. After that it's been variable. Hopefully the new structure above will give the manager time and work on some of the aspects that we've struggled with the last years. Like media pressure and injuries. One of the reasons ten Hag might've gotten some more time than people think is that we have alot of young talent in the squad. Which ten Hag has a good track record with. He is known to develop young players extremely well. Let's just hope that the results come for the next few games tho. If some of the rival clubs would drop points too that would be mint!
If fans were like you, we would be at a much better place as a club. Great perspective but banter and negativity gets more engagement. That's the harsh Truth.
Ole was flyin until he stopped playin counter attack
How to counter against teams that dig deep (3/4 of the league)?
Exactly once he changed that it went down hill ten hag trying do same which why its looks awful but give it A chance
@@A_n_y_t_i_m_eWhich is why he tried changing the style of play, but Maguire and McFred couldn't play that way. Then Ole just lost confidence in his plan and it all went to hell.
This news is an absolute fucking April fools 😂
That intro reminds me of WWE 😅
I would low-key love to see Howson get taken to Suplex City
@@jaserogers997bet you'd love to see him in Spandex too ...ya seedy lil man
Nice projection dude - I was happy to see Brock Lesnar wearing a "Ten Hag Out" t-shirt and then put Howson in an arm lock, but we can dress Ste up if you like.
I like EtH and he is building SLOWLY but I'd have Ole back right now, he would be awesome under INEOS imho. We just can't finish despite having rvn as a coach. Get rvn on show em how it's done
Fair enough mate
If anyone have problem with ETH all I have say is Maguire has been ok and under ole and Ralf he was poor so ETH has made him better
Facts
Ole should never have gotten sacked. It was so sad how it ended.
He should have been given until the end of the season.
Unbeaten away from home in the league and finishing 3rd and 2nd is some acheivement.
Man United have played thier best football under Ole hands down. Only thing missing was trophies which I believe would have come.
Rather bring Ole back if we got rid of Ten Hag tbh. Otherwise just stick with him. Cups might save Ten Hag again who knows cause Man United aint finishing in the top 4.
The team stopped playing of him …..was shambles
Ole was unlucky not to have won any silverware. However, he's far better than ETH. Although, I suspect that former England footballers didn't like that he was given the job. Paul Ince didn't hide his feelings until Ole defeated his team in the league cup. So, I'll say yes to his return. Under ETH, United has no plan B.
@@puixifenkem3896 idk that he's a better tactician because we saw the differences in performances with different assistants and how they (Carrick, McKenna) are doing as managers now. However, he did have the sense to play fun counter attacking football and get results. As Ste said here, some of his adaptations and results would not be done/achieved by any other manager we've had post Fergie. He was honestly the closest to Fergie in the sense that he wasn't too proud or stubborn (on most occasions) to sit back and counter “better” clubs at the time and he had the least amount of let downs vs smaller clubs. More goals, more PPG than all other post Fergie managers. I know trophies are the goal but don't be plastic trophy hunters ya know cause numbers don't lie. He would have different players and even better results with a competent front office imo just look at who he wanted and where they are now ffs lol
Ole might smash it under the new regime
Clueless 😂
🌈 thinking
Yeah thats why he dont have a manager job yet.
🤮🤮🤮🤮
🤦🏽♂️🤣
Ole is just saying he loves the club and would do whatever he could for us because he considers the club family.
There's a video of all United's missed 'big chances' this season on Sky Sports. If we'd buried them all we'd only have 3 more points. United get criticised for not smashing everyone every week. That's why we get dumped on by the media and Spurs don't. The expectation for United is crazy. Remember when we got to two Champions League Finals in 3 years and the media were calling the team rubbish.
Seems like Rio just cut Howson out of everything and chenged everything with his podcast, mostly just retired players now and not that funny to listen to. I miss the old Vibe was so much more fun to listen to.
Speak crap mate
@@andymanser1 lol ?
@@sbhh2 yea your bang on, it's boring AF without ste
Agreed. Given up on Rio, just a typical podcast now. Nothing special
I fancy Utd on the weekend. Spurs only played last night and most of the game with 10 men. And they are Spurs...
Defence is so slow 10 passes to make 2 yards give teams to get into position before going long hit and hope football makes fo hard watching I could cry at times
I miss McSauce at least he scored and hes scoring for his new team. if i was to go for a new manager Luis Fuente the Spanish manager
I wouldn’t listen to any of the media garbage. Utd just need to score goals once that happens we’ll be off and running. It was a bit demoralising ETH couldn’t beat a Dutch team when he would know them inside out. But he would have if they players took chances and didn’t give a ridiculous goal away.
Agreed, the problem is the only number 9 we have is injured for what feels like 50% of the time. Shocking we only have one out and out striker.
@@andytrimbee2599 yep that’s the old regime they persisted with the glass frog Martial. What is it with Utd signing player after player with poor injury records. They need that Obi-Martin cleared to play. They need to hound the premier league to get it sorted it’s restraint of trade not clearing him to play.
The most entertaining Football played during Oles time.
Ole back at the wheel!
NO WAY - HE'S A LOVEABLE LEGEND BUT A MEDIOCRE MANAGER FOR PREMIER LEAGUE LEVEL
He came second in the league… he wasn’t that bad
Ten Hag is worse...to be honest
@@williamquarmine7933🤣🤣🤣
@@nickkattatoContext is imp bro. If I am not mistaken, then he came 2nd with 74 points that season. ETH had 75 points, 3rd place finish, 1 trophy, 2 finals. Ofc, Ole wasn't bad, because being bad and being limited is different. You ought to admit that his teams were only effective during counter attacks, and that explains why we set the record for away wins (instead of home) and the wins against Pep's City.
Why is this even being debated….. ineos will give ten hag at least the season to show progress…. They aren’t delusional and expecting us to be challenging for top considering all new recruits, lack of quality upfront, still players to be moved on etc
The team is doing better, still few of players getting match fit…. We haven’t played with our potential full strength first team yet….dnt forget our limited budget for players due to poor management.. our defence was priority.." each transfer window wil be strategic buys
Remember when Ole was manager, and people were saying "If a REAL manager had these players they would win the league..."?
I miss those days when we would go a goal behind in the first 10 minutes and not worry because we knew we'd score two or three in the second half. Now we go a goal behind and its, "Shit, I hope we don't lose by 3 or 4..."
At least we've now got a load of players who know how to "play out from the back" and have great stats... it was boring when we used to try and score more goals than the opposition.
Ole was the second worst manager since Fergie retired. He was the one that tolerated poor training standards in order to stay in the players good books he allowed a culture of laziness and player power to take over and for all those PSGs and Man City wins what did we have to show for it? Nothing the only final he got to he lost Ten Hag has been in 3 finals and won 2 one against City. Enough of the Ole love in. Ole is a legend as a player as a manager forget about it there's a reason nobody is hiring him and there was people ready to hire Rangnick, Mourinho and Van Gaal afterwards. It's because he's not a good manager he had no particular philosophy that stuck to and creature a culture of playing off vibes, vibes are inconsistent in themselves so that alone is no way to run a club that's supposedly supposed to be competing for titles. Small minded people who can't look at the big picture are the kind of people who want Ole back they are dangerous to the future of this football club. Whatever you think of Ten Hag he is developing a team slowly but surely.
I wouldn't say Ole was adaptable. His style just suited some of those big matches. We tried to adapt in his last season, and be more dominant, and it ended up being a disaster. I never wanted Ole to leave, but thinking back on it without the emotions of me backing the manager and a club legend, I don't see how we would ever beat a low block under Ole. We would never make a step up to be that dominant team under him, I don't think. Also, I understand that people judge managers on league finishes, but come on, why did you change your tune to what others are playing? I agreed with you before that football is about winning trophies, I really don't give a fuck that we finished 2nd and 3rd, when I think about it now, but I still think about Europa under Jose and FA cup under LvG. And I understand the emotions of that match in Paris, but honestly, we just ended up losing really easily to Barca next round, and that was that, so to me this come back is extremely overrated as it amounted to nothing in the end. Ten Hag's run to FA cup last season was way better with that wins over Lpool and City.
There has been clear progress on last season's big problem which was the transition from attack to defence, if we now can get the lack of goals sorted out then we are on track. Give ETH and his staff more time. If we can get an Ugarte/Mainoo level or better upgrade on Casemiro or Eriksen in the winter window then I'm chuffed. Even an Amad or better level replacement for Antony.
I think the only thing which can save Ten Hag and save this new project which INEOS are heading is to win the next 5 or 6 and to go unbeaten right up to Christmas.
I think it will be speculation and disgruntled fans week after week until that point.
I think it's possible, but then I thought we would sneak in to the top 6 last year.
I don't have any patience for another rebuild. I don't have as much faith in the new owners as some fans do. I think they've made some good appointments but also there is a lot going on behind the scenes which still involves the Glazers and the architects they have lined up to address the stadium issues and the whole "plan" around that shower of shite fills me with dread.
Ole coming back sounds like we're still in reverse and the changes and belief in a "new United" are just for clicks and PR.
Love United Hate the Glazers and remember who still owns a massive chunk of the club.
No sign of them leaches being expelled from their cash cow. All they do is try to manipulate fans emotions for their own profit.
2028, it will be almost a 5 years tenure of INEOS by then. It is doable. The 1 billion pound question is who is going to be United Manager at that time? Would the core of the players still be there ( most United active contracts run out in 2026-2027). I wouldn't be surprised if United mimic chelsea all guns out approach of recruiting many young players on low salaries and getting rid of starplayers on huge wages. Forget about sacking Ten Hag for now. The most pressing issues are reducing expenses and comply with PSR. I am 100% confident its was a keynote at the Barcelona meeting between INEOS and the Glazers. If United stay till the end of October in the second half of the table, then they will pull the trigger and spend big in january secure the top 4 qualification with its 100 millions package to balance the books.
ste see if you watch the Rangers vs Malmo game, they do the same tactics 4-4-2 in defensive positions and high press. 18 shots Rangers had with the same tactics. i see Ten Hag trying to do the same thing but utd players aren't getting it or not wanting to run and it tends to be the usual players that don't press when really needed.
Solskjaer done a great job but he couldn’t get us over the line we need to back this manager he wins trophies once things are settled we will be fine , we have been seriously unlucky in the attacking side we’ve had plenty of chances to score and haven’t put them away and a majority of the goals are individual errors ie eriksen , casemiro etc
The southgate thing is utter nonsense, there are links just because of the obvious brailsford/ashworth friendship, but ashworth and Omar a real football men and know what it takes, its just scare tactics, utter BS
Surely Ole knew the fallout of his comments, could have said no and kept it moving. No headline, no quote for sky or talksport to get excited over
I'm curious how this team would perform playing in empty stadiums given how mentally fragile some of the squad are.
David Moyes would say yes , lots would say yes . ETH needs a full season . That is what the board gave him . Against Twenty the other night an opposition player runs by half the team and out most experienced player losses the ball like taking sweets from a baby . Why blame ETH . The open heart surgery goes on and is open heart surgery with complications .
Hot take maybe, but United played better football this season than they have in a long time. The results have not been there, agree but they have not played poorly.
Good bless both of y'all
Everyone wants a magician, if we lose ten hag, we're gonna regret it I'm really saying this
I’ll always love Ole, but wouldn’t want him back at the club. That would be a huge step backwards
Smash Spurs 4-0, and singing "sack Sange in the morning" all the way.
Ole received pants in the transfer market from the likes of Woodward
Signing of Ronaldo wrecked it for Ole and Sancho.
Hi guys , love the channel and the community! My question is what are your thoughts on van gaal as a manager ? He was monumental for us (Bayern) but feel like he wasn't giving the time a united ? Fair statement?
Absolutely fair, I felt disgusted with the way he was treated just shameful, and a lot of ex player's have said the club has always been bad at getting rid of some and excellent with others, LVG though got no respect and although he won't see this I THANK HIM FOR HIS SERVICE TO OUR CLUB
@@eddiemcalinden2773 I think sometime the "harsh man" that take the job to put everything in order and set standards are disregard to easily. Most of the time the club then goes for another approach and just end up restarting things... (Bayern was the same in 2002-2010)
If Manchester can get Eric another season after this one if we see progression I think they will do themselves a favor
@tlh59 I totally agree, patience is required and calm heads, rebuilds always take time. I must say I enjoyed the Bundesliga last season seeing Bayer Leverkusen make history and this season Bayer Munchen are on 🔥, your club has had a special place in my heart since I was a little boy, both clubs have a shared part of history together , thank you for the reply, have a good season amd a great life my friend.
ole and ruud oi oi
Ole was the best manager we had post Ferguson!! Hard luck Jose those trophies you won are bollox... Ole all the way.
well yeah they were bollox winning us a the europa league is the equivlent of saying we are top 60 in europe plus he won it on a year we were in champions league n got us kicked out
- Free flowing football was directly because we had a fit and young Rashford, Martial, Greenwood, Bruno, Pogba and Cavani.
- Now we have an older post injury Rashford, Martial was broken, Greenwood gone and scoring goals at Marseille, Pogba banned from football, Bruno doing ok and Cavani gone.
- The current options are Antony (useless), Garnacho (inexperience), Rashford (out of form + post injury), Zirkzee and Hojlund who aren't goal scorers or close to the ability of Martial or Greenwood and no generational Pogba, with an older Bruno.
And on top of this there have been sources from inside the club that have said it was extremely toxic. He physically broke Rashford and Martial.
I don't want to see EtH replaced as manager, but if it happens, I wouldn't be sad to see Ole return. I think he would do a lot better with a football structure that backed him.
Fair enough

Want the title in 2028 for out 150th anniversary... Has to be a green and gold kit 😊😅
I want never gets 😊
Ole and Rudd be great 🎉🎉
League doesn't lie. Also: Ole got away with absolute murder coming 3rd on 66 points. Ten Hag gets 75 points in his first season, Jose - 81 points. Ole carried by Bruno to a max of 74 points. 4 lost semi-finals out of 5. He is a serial loser. Them City wins were absolutely useless. Like winning in the first leg of the cup and going out of the run altogether. Ten Hag doesn't smash big 6 teams (though his record in first season - 6 out of 6 wins at home) is what Ole wouldn't even dream of. And Erik won against city when it mattered: in the cup final. Ole's "away record" with no f8cking fans in the stadiums is laughable. Stop that nonsense. There are obvious metrics to say Jose is the most successful post SAF, Erik is 2nd best and cooking. Ole is competing with Moyes for a bit of sunshine here
Ole was a way better manager than ten hag
The section of the fanbase that wouldnt mind Ole back cant love the club enough or wish success for the club, the love for the individual over the the team is near betrayal. Ole is currently out of management for a reason. We wasted 3 years and millions under him.
Like now then?
@@johnpaulnoone3071 pretty much, but at least Ten Hag has brought a little light during these dark ages with a few trophies
I love to have ole back but I think no would be better because he had his own staff...if ole did come back I'd like to see gigsy and ruud as his staff..Brian kid maybe just a thought 😊
Ole is out of job for 2+ years for a reason. Forget elite clubs, not even mid table teams would touch him. He had the most bloated squad ever. 10 players left when Ole left including the likes of pogba, matic, cavani, mata, lingard, bailly etc, which were players he didn't play and refused to sell. He gave mid players like Jones and Martial enormous contracts. Dan James was the only good signing he made. Ole will always be loved and welcomed with open arms. But please, incompetent ex-players should stay away from the club.
It doesn't really matter who plays left back because thats the inverted full back position where they move into the number 6 position. You could put a central midfielder there.
At the time and to this day, I felt appointing Ole permanently was a mistake. We clearly had a new manager bounce, but as soon as it was announced he was made permanent, the results fell off a cliff. In my eyes, the warning signs were when we got spanked 4-0 by Everton after crashing out to Barca, having lost to Wolves twice by then.
Ole knew how to beat city
Ten hag knows how beat real madrid juventus dortmund man city Liverpool arsenal Chelsea he bet them all.
Yes we had some great nights under Ole but how can anybody seriously sit there and say he was the best post Ferguson manager is beyond me.
Van Gaal:
1st season: Finished 4th 70 points
2nd season: Finished 5th 66 points, won FA Cup (sacked)
Mourinho:
1st season: Finished 6th 69 points, won Europa League, won League Cup
2nd Season: Finished 2nd 81 points
3rd season: Imploded and sacked
Ole:
1st season: Finished 3rd 66 points
2nd season: Finished 2nd 74 points
3rd season: Imploded and sacked
Ten Hag:
1st season: Finished 3rd 75 points, won League Cup
2nd Season: Finished 8th 60 points, won FA Cup
Favourite manager post Fergie is fair enough and I don't think Ole is half as bad as some United fans make out but saying he is the best is total nonsense.
Yes, the league is priority and I will be ecstatic when 21 comes but I'd take a trophy and 8th over 2nd and fook all. We aren't Arsenal.
I agree that Oli is the best post Fergie... Simply for the fact that he got the best out of A. Martial
Best comment/point of the show was pointing out how only this past summer we got in new footballing execs and the first 2 were glazer/woodward 👖
Eriksen’s fitness and durability is incredible. But obviously because he had a heart attack and isn’t physical towards the end of games people think he is unable to start regularly. He’s fine to start another game in a row.
Ole don't hv a job since he got sacked .. we played counter attack during covid time .. we got hammered by Watford.. and other teams
Ole signed Maguire, Bissaka, Sancho, Tuchel could do something.
The betting odds are a fair indicator of what is and isn't likely. Eth sack odds quite poor atm and next manager will not be ole.
Ole in
We still act like Ole never got the job in the first place purely based on his history as a player. Achieved nothing before United (Cardiff & Molde), got a 2nd place finish like Mourinho with no silverware. Hype is because of his name.
Love Ole, but ETH needs time, same. as fergie needed time
No ETH has to go he is awful manager
How much?
It’s all well and good making a statement like that but…. Has no one considered the detrimental effects it could possibly have on players who obviously wont be here in 2028 due to age ? 🤷🏻♂️🤔
Genuinely don’t understand how we’re saying that Ole was better than Ten Hag because if that’s the case then so is Arteta. Last season we all said “football is about winning trophies” now we’re saying “it’s all about where you finish in the league”. Not trying to be d*ckhead but just trying to understand which matters more?
Why is anyone surprised he said that? He loves the club... I'd have him back anyday because I liked the way his teams played and I think with the support in place now and no Ronaldo to fuck it up, he could do well.
Is this the “massive team” that you are now saying is best in class? I’m done with you guys. Start supporting your team and making less dividend from them
Ste 45-50 minutes outside of pen y fan is the blue plaque of sir jimmy Murphy, where he was born if you ever wanted to go and look for a bit of United history when down next
The last few games of ole were bunch of red flags.
Ole did have a good run though at some moments , I think his downfall came when Ronaldo signed. He even said it in an interview. It was the right thing to do but at the wrong time. Ronaldo is a big name and player and will need big management skills for u to be able to coach that United squad
Ole isn’t that guy
For now i would take ole as a interim again
Stop watching football forever
Why when you have rud
Not sure if this question is relevant at all or not so please forgive me, but do you think we would be better off if we'd signed Jean-Clair Todibo and got rid of Harry Maguire.
with Ole as our manager..definitely de light, mazroui, yoro wouldn’t be coming to United. RVN & Hake are not good enough..United style of play suits Zidane / Xavi / hansi flick (should have go with this one) & nagelsmann
Howson , it says it all ole best manger since fergie couldn’t get a championship club after it , eth as hit more lows then any other but all the mangers careers went down after Utd
I don’t think going back to Ole is the answer. I do agree there is no obvious replacement if ETH does get the bullet. However, the next 3 games are going to decide his future. Fans have been patient, last year’s injuries made it impossible to do anything. We have more or less a fully fit squad now. I know the manager can’t make players put the ball in the net but it’s the results that matter, not XG or any other metric. Most of the forwards we have were signed during his time so it’s on the manager in a way. Love the content as always Ste, not reactionary , but rational thinking. Do you think if we don’t win 2 of the next 3 or something similar that fans and maybe Ineos might loose patience?
If ten is sacked (and I think it’s likely based on the performances this past 18 months) then ole could be a viable option only until the end of season ( the way it should have been last time)
Very strange take from Howaon regarding Ruud. Illogical tbh.
I love ETH but I would sack him TONIGHT to bring back Ole under INEOS
It would be interesting to get Ole back to train the youth team, but he is set to manage the Norwegian national team.
Ole had a shit show of a job to do .
This time round its 1000 % better i see a bright future....love ole he had a fight with his team as we did fergie...
I'm all in for an Ole resurgence if he comes back.
Hearing the worry in your voice about Southgate makes me think you’ve called it but can’t quite say it. Hope your wrong and he ends up at Everton 🤞
No no no, i like Ole he did fine.
But his entire point of success was to turn the team into a counter attacking team.
We have spend 3 years trying to get out of that type of football, and we are getting there slowly... too slow but slowly.
We cant turn the other way now.
XG is like BMI is with weight. It doesn't tell the story of a game at all consistently.
Southgate would be a frontman for a team run from the boardroom.
You guys need to start being sensible. This banner is an insult. Support the manager and start putting United first
Do we want to get back to the top or not? we need the best in class in the dugout, This fanbase is dilusional
Currently in halong bay, happy hour. Vietnam is Red and most se Asia. And they now ste
IF Erik was to go, I’d rather see Ole back under a new coherent regime rather than Southgate or the likes.
Hell no!!! I'd give it Ruud till the end of the season...if it comes down to it.
Steve you are the only Utd podcast that is honest ....there is no bullshit you say it as it is
