  • Wade Robinson's November Cruiser, 213" Lonestar Mega | Deer Season 21
    On this episode of Deer Season 21 we've got two awesome hunts from two vastly different parts of the country. First up is Wade Robinson who tags an awesome buck during one of our favorite phases "desperately seeking." A classic rut hunt, Wade puts the Mathews VXR to work on a beautiful buck out cruising the Iowa woods. Then we travel south to the Lonestar State where Jacob Odell and John Odell are on their annual father/son hunting trip. By the end, Jacob punches his Texas tag on his largest buck to date, a 213" giant that will be etched in memory as one of the duos most incredible hunts ever.

      Ronald Miller, thank you for the kind words sir! Wade has had one heck of a season and we have a feeling he isn't done yet. Hopefully that buck shows up soon for you and good luck hunting the next time you're in the woods!

    The first buck you passed looked to be a year older than the buck you shot.

      Dod ever purchased straws from an Eastern Texas deer farm? Possibly a farm called d&b whitetails? You expect us to think you guys kill 3-4 200 inch whitetails every season? Come on now....

      Donnie Greathouse, no sir this isn’t a high fence operation and that’s the facts. John Odell has hunted with his great friend Mike Stroff at SOE hunts for years. We are 100% Wild 100% Fair Chase. As for the below comments, please refer to the above. Best of luck hunting and have a great rest of your night!

      Dustin Byers, first off thanks for taking the time to watch the episode! Please refer to the above comment for the answer to your comment. No is also the answer to your straw question. We’re happy to see John and Jacob continue their father son tradition and can’t wait to see more of their memories as they are made. For more, below is a message from John. Have a great rest of your seasons we hope it’s a good one.
      From John,
      I have been hunting with Mike Stroff at SOE Hunts for years. At Drury Outdoors we only hunt low fence deer period. Anyone can feel free to check with Mike directly or with any of the land owners/lease owners that we hunt with in South Texas!

    That is definitely not a 200 inch buck, maybe 160

      Wades buck is around 160 yes, however the second buck that the kid shot was definitely 200+

    How much $ for a 200 incher run ya at this ranch?
    Might have to plan a trip if it's reasonable.

      Your looking around $20,000 to kill a 200+ inch buck in Texas! But they have hunts for 150” bucks for around $5,000

      I mean if it's your thing as a recreational hunter to pay a ranch big bucks for a guaranteed big buck so be it

    Thumbs up for Wade's buck, (however the Oct 30 buck was a better deer).....thumbs down on O'Dell buck. Lame hunt, felt like tame animal, an definitely and unrealistic Texas deer....join us public land hunters and experience HUNTING. What I saw was just good shooting.

  • @brittrobertson7323
    @brittrobertson7323 2 роки тому +14

    I just can’t get excited about the O’Dell hunts… all they do is pay somebody to show them where they can shoot a giant… the rest of the drury team has their own properties and grow monster bucks from the ground up, they actually have to do their own work, not the work of somebody else. Might as well be high fence hunting
