These are great ideas! But you have some things wrong bout the book. You see old sport, not one single cocktail was mentioned in the novel or any movie remake and Gatsby's attempts to woo daisy had nothing to do with making 20 lemon cakes.
Mint Juleps were mentioned in the hotel room when Gatsby and Tom fought.
@@Southernbelle2978 yeah but they were out and it was a hot day and that wasn't a Gatsby party, that was a Tom+Daisy hosted event. But now that I think of it Tom always served an endless number of cocktails. But not Gatsby (I guess?)
But Nick got roaring drunk so we can assume they had cocktails at the party
This makes me want to throw a party every other week!
