I hope Arrma doesn’t completely do away with the red shock body’s. The red just looks so awesome against all of that black and at this point I feel like it’s a trademark Arrma feature.
The black on the shocks and chassis braces is a callback to the original Nero Big Rock that had silver shocks and blacked out chassis plates. In keeping with that tradition, they blacked out all the red bits you'd normally see on the ARRMA cars. This is a styling feature exclusive to the Big Rock truck, so don't worry, I don't think the red is going anywhere and you'll still get it on the other their other cars. 😉
My hobby shop had an absolute beast of a sale. I just bought a Mojave 6S for $640 after taxes. Would have been about $700. That was a great deal, and they had a ton of cool stuff on sale. But yeah Horizon only really giving us a sale on the Typhon 6S for ARRMA is kinda sad
@Krapper515 I got a Hammer Rey for 400,and an LMT King Sling for 530,those were good deals lol. Also bought a DX5 Rugged and a GNSS GPS speed checker ,the day before they went on sale 😡. I pre ordered a Big rock 6s,but mine doesn't arrive til Friday.
I think it is what it says it is, a 1/7-scale Big Rock! Looks like a Big Rock, performs and handles like a Big Rock! I mean, what were people expecting? You can't please everyone, though. They include a light body and people complain it's not durable, make it heavy duty and they complain it's too heavy? I think they nailed it with the body, looks like it's going to take a beating and even the hybrid body securing system is preety cool. And tires? I pretty much expect I'll need to replace tires on any RTR but I thought these are a nice compromise (typical jack of all trades, master of none, lol!). I think the price point is too high though, especially with the release of the new Kraton 6s. It retails for the same price but has many newer features and I think it will grab the attention away from the Big Rock! Thanks as always (and stay away from that damn fence, lol) ✌
I stripped my brcc to rebuild my granite I feel like I’m only guy loves the granite 😂I have expensive rcs too I just love that little truck . You don’t have to crazy with tunning to run like a banshee
Arrma is killin' it. I love Traxxas but they are getting their asses kicked by Horizon/Arrma. Significantly lower price points for comparable or better performance.

Looks good. What happened at the 15:06 mark reminded me of what happened when you ran your Sledge there. I'm still missing the SF Bay Area, and NorCal Hobbies...but, Vegas isn't all that bad. Just wish we had a better hobby shop here.

Now with this Big Rock 6S, which is of a very similar size and focus, the question arises between the two. What do you think??. I think it would be very interesting to compare the two. Hi Razor, do you plan to review TC Kagama? Just bought one as I have several Arrma's. Comparing it to my mates punisher they seem to have done many changes some not so obvious eg suspension tuning, position of centre diff etc to hopefully improve bashing. Watched yr videos on earlier Team Corally cars and be good to see someone doing a more in-depth review. Also interested to see how it stacks up against kraton v5. Think prev TC drove well and had better esc and motor but not as good durability. Have the TC mods improved the Kagama? Anyway keep up the good reviews. Enjoy yr stuff and find it very informative!

It is in fact a ground car it’s not really for performing jumps I mean you got to hit up a 15 foot jump at 30 miles an hour to get any air and do a backflip so it is the fire team with a different body, maybe different tuning And the new electronics. Period period.. oh and I waited and I got to fire him for 400 bucks Z beautiful black one good dog keep it up especially with your new rating system. How you drive the vehicle I like that.
See, that's where it's a different car than the Fireteam. The Fireteam is meant to never go more than a few feet off the ground. The Big Rock can definitely be sent 20 feet high and do huge tricks.
@@RazorRCI have a Spektrum programmer and used it on the 150a (from V5 Kraton) I put in an E-Maxx - but do they come with a USB to update them? I'm not running on all cylinders right now.

Try ZD Racing MX07 please, and compare it with 1/7 scale like arrma big rock or hobao mt2 etc. Any other channel always compare it to traxxas x maxx and make clickbait title as a xmaxx killer. I believe if you make the comparison, since you own 1/7 big rock & hobao mt2, you can give very interesting comparison
Awesome! Yours preformed way better than mine 👍 I have a glitchy ESC. Seems like its hit or miss who has one thats fine or one that causes the truck to violently nose down off of jumps.
I'll have to check out your video! I did switch to a single IC5 connector, ran the punch at 9, and used a DX5 Pro, but none of that should affect glitching.
@@GreatLakesRCGlitching eh? I have a Max 6 that's glitching. Both glitch, actually. I wonder if it's a Hobbywing thing. My Castle MMX 6s ESC's are flawless. The one is quite old and works with no hiccups. I wonder if an 8s Castle esc would be better for a K6 I run 8s in. The better XLX whatever it's called.
@@RazorRC Earl and RC Guy both talk about that drag-brake-like issue causing the nose to pitch down in their Big Rock videos as well. Yeah I was also surprised it didn't present itself as well in your video. they were using stock transmitters. I don't know/remember if they tried to recalibrate the ESC.
@barbedwirerat661 well, there’s no drag brake on mine, and there’s a setting to adjust it in the ESC - mine was set to 0. People mean well, but let’s just say I tend to disagree with a lot of other people’s opinions.
This truck kinda overpriced. Its a bigger 3s bigrock. Should have had more exb parts and some new updated exb parts. Then they released the kraton exb v2. My hobbyshop canceled their orders on bigrocks because theres no point of ordering that truck when the clear superior one is the same price
