I'm not Swedish, I'm from Chile. I have family that lives in Sweden. But. I love Meshuggah since I was 13 now I'm 28. I love this music. This kind of metal. Thanks guys for this song. because you inspire people too. Musically, mentally. Thanks Vildhjarta.
I don't know how a song can make me feel so pumped up and yet so relaxed at the same time. I could mosh my brains out to this song and then use it to take a nap afterwards. What a masterpiece
I would love it if they would put out a double album. They say they love writing material and are always looking for the fresh new groove. Well they should have enough then. Make 1 cd instrumental because we the fans LOOOOVVEEEE this sound. Second CD, with vocals. This CD would be more orientated around the lyrics in the same way as Masstaden and everyone is happy.
@LiranDivino Oh man thanks for pointing me in the direction of Permillisecond, loving it! I'm a fan of Cloudkicker too, have been for a while. Anything like this just let me know, I love it!
These guys didn't just shit this music out, they really sat there and worked on shitting this stuff into the industry...... and for that, we thank you Vildhjarta!
All these djent bands use digital amplifiers like the Line 6 Pod's. I think Tesseract admitted to having a huge rack filled with computers and effects to process their guitars.
Fellows....this song is really fucking crazy. I´m trying to put into words all the density and deepness of this song...It´s hard to find out. So the only left me to do , I´m ready doing..I´ve listening this song everyday , everytime I can.This is really an instrumental prayer. God Bless Vildhjarta
@eleventhsun you say that, but looking at all these bands such as vildhjarta who actually classify themselves as djent it becomes more prevelent as a subgenre.
fucking incredible ! i was a metal fan from early age til about 15-16 i found hard and dark drum n bass and got so into it i just left metal behind ! now though i hear this new shit after producing all sort of hard electronis stuff , im thinking this sound is the best sound out there , whatever people call it is the most awesome stuff . fucking gets me pumped !!!!
@sheps999 Live periphery use 2 engl invaders and a mesa recto. Live tesseract use a mesa and a powerball. Live monuments use engl Live safety fire are the only band I've seen that use Axe Fx and the distortion didn't quiteeeee cut it. Nice cleans though! Like wow!
@ganGaZION because it's so low, they have to compress the fuck out of it and add like over 9000 treble to make it sound decent love the poly rhythms though
@ForTheLoveOfGod That's great for you, but what does that have to do with anything? I never mentioned 7 or 8 string guitars lol. I'd rather use a 7 than an 8 too. The neck is too thick
@TylerBlackburne I mean labeling things and putting things in an order is a pretty human thing to do. see patterns where other animals dont. I enjoy discussing or talking about genres, where do they turn into another, what overlaps what so on so fourth. But this music, the tone was called djent but now the whole genre is known as djent. Is it correct? maybe not but you can't say that it isn't a genre when everyone that listens to this music knows it by djent. my 2 cents on the whole thing. peace
Vildhjarta is dirt poor and doesn't use 8-strings. These songs aren't demos they're just exports to show the progress of certain ideas. So just relax a bit ;) The album will be big...
@rudeez Tja! Är det Pod XT live ni använder även på inspelningarna? Älskar ert gitarr ljud nämligen. Skulle vara gött om man fick veta iallafall vilket ljud ni utgår från på poden :) //Buster
@ThePlaguedRaven ok, I've heard that adjective in only one place. Do you live in Fredericton, NB, Canada? Or would you care to explainto me what djent means to you?
@DeadEyeSprout Yeah, it's kinda hard to WRITE to you what it SOUNDS like.. :) And to try some phonetic crap is not very useful since the vernacular, all in all, is just very different.
@Shurikhein Never said anything about the differences between djent and prog metal... i didn't even mention prog metal in my comment. So that really has nothing to do with what i said. I was saying that sarcastically in response to all the people who don't think djent is a genre... But good job at telling me that the statement that i never said was incorrect.
I think the pinnacle of music has been reached. I can't even begin to realize how it could ever get better than this
It became better.
I'm not Swedish, I'm from Chile. I have family that lives in Sweden. But. I love Meshuggah since I was 13 now I'm 28. I love this music. This kind of metal. Thanks guys for this song. because you inspire people too. Musically, mentally. Thanks Vildhjarta.
yep this version of the song is way better than what they put out on Masstaden
Yup, weird they changed tone so much. no attack or gain on the later version. total failure
sorry guys but the 2nd version is much better
+dbgrfdg sorry, I have an opinion
+IIIFrenchyIII They borrow from each other, they aren't the exact same song, I don't think they are comparable.
best song eveer when you're dunk and want to show your friends something really brutal and awesome
This is seriously the future. Songs composed so well and made so original is genuinely refreshing as a musician.
I don't know how a song can make me feel so pumped up and yet so relaxed at the same time. I could mosh my brains out to this song and then use it to take a nap afterwards. What a masterpiece
This music is really reaching toward the future. With some amazing vocals and some serious bass, this would be a brilliant tune. Great job!
I listened to it like 10 times, now I hear the details wish there was a better sound quality version.
Awesome song!! Cant wait to have an whole album of these guys!
I would love it if they would put out a double album. They say they love writing material and are always looking for the fresh new groove. Well they should have enough then. Make 1 cd instrumental because we the fans LOOOOVVEEEE this sound. Second CD, with vocals. This CD would be more orientated around the lyrics in the same way as Masstaden and everyone is happy.
you’ve seen the future! 😮
Damn... I could feel my asshole tearing as that groove entered me..
@LiranDivino Oh man thanks for pointing me in the direction of Permillisecond, loving it! I'm a fan of Cloudkicker too, have been for a while.
Anything like this just let me know, I love it!
its sweet that they can take the same note and make a whole song that is good with pretty much one note.
i dont understand anything but i love it so much
I love this.
These guys didn't just shit this music out, they really sat there and worked on shitting this stuff into the industry...... and for that, we thank you Vildhjarta!
Sounds like a mix between Meshuggah and Opeth. LOVE IT!
love this band
I heard heir debut album will be released on 27th November in Europe, and 28th November in the US.
once u listen to it u cant stop head banging, and thats the beauty of this music.
can't wait for the debut album
@VanNessDrummer It means Wild Heart. It is actually spelled Vildhjärta, but they removed the dots.
OMFG! This is intense man!
He's realising he was lied to when they said their were no new ideas under the sun
This was the birth of Thall
oh fuck this groove goes hard
Both Vildhjarta and Meshuggah are Swedish...
And both play "Djent"
All these djent bands use digital amplifiers like the Line 6 Pod's. I think Tesseract admitted to having a huge rack filled with computers and effects to process their guitars.
Fellows....this song is really fucking crazy. I´m trying to put into words all the density and deepness of this song...It´s hard to find out. So the only left me to do , I´m ready doing..I´ve listening this song everyday , everytime I can.This is really an instrumental prayer. God Bless Vildhjarta
Progressive metal is like the best metal there is.
GOODGODMAN. This has some serious edge.. Superior/DFH kit sounds monstrous...riffage....I LOVE 0:55 - 2:00
don't get me wrong, i love the vocals and all, but this is so much better
is it just me or is this way better than the album version
Hope they hurry and release their album already. Should be sometime this year.
Seeing vildhjarta in less than an hour. xDDDDD
The most djent song out there. These guys rigs are pathetically good.
I really dig the swing based beat in this song. So damn groovy
This is some wicked shit, man.
Just fucking amazing! no other way to put it!
Doesn't change the fact the style is still called Djent.
I like the subgenre 'Djent' because it rolls off the tongue better than 'Post Extreme Progressive Ambient Groove Metal' C'mat me, bro.
im so surprised i havent heard these guys before. shit man. great music. thanks!
man when will this shit ever stop? ughhhhh come on Meshuggah please release an album, and put these bands in their righteous place.
@eleventhsun you say that, but looking at all these bands such as vildhjarta who actually classify themselves as djent it becomes more prevelent as a subgenre.
This song is fucking awesome.
@sheps999
more of them use the axe fx, i think only meshuggah used the pod that i know of, and i think they switched over to the ax fx also
way better than new version from album
fucking incredible ! i was a metal fan from early age til about 15-16 i found hard and dark drum n bass and got so into it i just left metal behind ! now though i hear this new shit after producing all sort of hard electronis stuff , im thinking this sound is the best sound out there , whatever people call it is the most awesome stuff . fucking gets me pumped !!!!
@H0RA wow, thanks professor
damn guys... just heard of you today on accident... and this is effing sexy in every way
@xypho666 I am afraid Djent does have a meaning, in the form of guitar tone
@xypho666 Not really. Djent can be one note. It's the sound made by an aggressive downstroke on the bass strings of the guitar.
You're right. The album version does fit the album.
1:37 is the riff from bunch of old riffage.
@CarllelRs I felt it could do with an update.
@ganGaZION
there isn;t enough bass in it, that makes it sound very trebly and thin
fucking beautiful
@arlothellama
The band is so good that not even quality can bring them down?
@PitiFullChaoss
what about fellsilent, friend for a foe, and monuments?
This is fucking amazing! Yeah!
@sheps999
Live periphery use 2 engl invaders and a mesa recto.
Live tesseract use a mesa and a powerball.
Live monuments use engl
Live safety fire are the only band I've seen that use Axe Fx and the distortion didn't quiteeeee cut it. Nice cleans though! Like wow!
@orcassio17 This is what i like to call METAL!!!
It Move
Tags: hip hop, dance music, rap, anime. Nice.
djent sounds like a more epic name
@ToolOfTrade the top.
@ganGaZION because it's so low, they have to compress the fuck out of it and add like over 9000 treble to make it sound decent
love the poly rhythms though
@ForTheLoveOfGod That's great for you, but what does that have to do with anything? I never mentioned 7 or 8 string guitars lol. I'd rather use a 7 than an 8 too. The neck is too thick
Have these guys put out an album yet? (potentially massively stupid question, but alas...)
This is pretty fuckin sick
Why do people argue that Djent isn't a subgenre of Metal? That's like saying dubstep is a sound and it's actually Electronic music. No. It's a genre.
@xADEAN4DIMEx Of course :) I have no problem with the tone.
agreed
@TylerBlackburne I mean labeling things and putting things in an order is a pretty human thing to do. see patterns where other animals dont. I enjoy discussing or talking about genres, where do they turn into another, what overlaps what so on so fourth. But this music, the tone was called djent but now the whole genre is known as djent. @Indisposed67 It was coined by meshuggah actually
I'd highly recommend Tesseract, Animals As Leaders and Chimpspanner if you're into the whole "djent" scene :3
Fucking awesome!
How do you say Vildhjarta? I love their music, and i love djent!
i wanna headbang live with these guys soooooooo fucking bad
@ThePlaguedRaven ok, I've heard that adjective in only one place. Do you live in Fredericton, NB, Canada? Or would you care to explainto me what djent means to you?
@rudeez
where can i get all your songs ? i'd buy them did u release albums yet?
@gseeber1 what about a warr guitar?
@DeadEyeSprout It's Swedish. "Vild" means wild, and "hjärta" means heart. So there's pretty much no correct way of pronouncing it in English :)
Sorry, I meant 28th in Europe, and 29th in the US.
@kman278 Vildhjärta translates to Wildheart.
@DeadEyeSprout Yeah, it's kinda hard to WRITE to you what it SOUNDS like.. :) And to try some phonetic crap is not very useful since the vernacular, all in all, is just very different.
so fucking hypnotic
@PitiFullChaoss ANIMALS AS LEADERS too!
@sheps999 isn't it "Wildheart"?
I am total hip hop t.e the underground rap but i enjoy this
3 names, Tesseract, Periphery, Vildhjarta....for now.....
@mrvai55 Link in description :)
Ambidjent!! YES... Fuckin love it! Hardy Hardy har har har
@PitiFullChaoss
B.M Sharp, Travis Montgomery, Keith Merrow.
Lol, I wouldn't be so sure. They probably spent all their money on the 8-strings.
@sheps999
or maybe as Wild Heart :D But I like how you translated it
Is the whole album available in the instrumental version ?
@Shurikhein Never said anything about the differences between djent and prog metal... i didn't even mention prog metal in my comment. So that really has nothing to do with what i said.
