- Hello everyone, you are watching another episode of Military TV. In today’s session, we will take a look at the Top 10 attack helicopters in service today. Attack helicopters are armed helicopters that serve a number of roles including primarily that of an attack aircraft. They are often termed gunships and offer offensive capability against enemy infantry, fortifications, and enemy vehicles like main battle tanks. Attack helicopters often have a number of redundant systems to make them more survivable as various systems are knocked offline in combat. Attack helicopters are normally armed with machine guns, rockets, and anti-tank missiles.

Doesn’t the KA54 have a pilot ejection system? Not talking about blowup dolls in their survival kits.
Apache, hands down. Perfect mix of hi-tech, weapons, electronics, agility and all packed in a menacing package.
What is there more to say? All it lacks is a little armor, but you must be slim to be nimble.
Sorry, Cobra, Havoc, Gator, Hind, Little Bird and the rest of the disappointed gunships, I still love you.
Besides, it all depends on the pilots anyway.

They go online and read other opinions from more people who are not pilots and don't have experience and don't gave training in the air craft.
Also a big factor is - situation (eg- weather, winds, type of missiles, luck factor, mission requirements etc.)

During the South African border war SA troops would encounter Hinds flown by East German pilots. They would shoot flares at the helicopters, hoping the pilot saw that as Stinger missiles. No idea how effective this tactic was.

You forgot to say that the KA-52 has a pilot ejection system (unique on helicopters) with the ability to release the rotor blades.

Its only in Limited series production. And a lot of its weapons system are yet to be integrated.
BTW it is Combat Helicopter worlds highest Service ceiling specially developed for himalayas where Apaches struggle

KA-52 is the only helicopter in the world that gives chances to survive to a pilots, after their aircraft is hit.

Names of the Tiger-Helicopter in the video are not correct. Name of the French version is "Tigre", the German name is "Tiger". None is "Tieger" like mentioned in the video.

It’s not about beauty. It’s about how well they do their job. Many of these have been downed and destroyed in Ukraine. Not very good though.

T129 is licensed varriant of A129..
Weapon systems are Turkish made and T129 also modified into newer version then the A129 which makes the T129 better

It's a light attack helicopter
It can't match any of these because when you go lightweight you have to sacrifice armour, heavy guns and some other systems.
Good thing about lch is range and height it can fly at. Both are almost the best.

Apache is too expensive too precious against mere lowlife insurgents, so Apache is the bottom of the list. Indeed, rankings are only relative
Also Apache is a death trap for the pilot if it is hit by manpad unlike the ka52 which has proven its ejection seat in ukriane
US lost 34 Apaches in Iraq and 10 in Afghanistan and that was against military with handful of stone age air defense while only few KA52's have been lost and that is considering that they are against all types of US and EU manpads, best of soviet airdef systems and 24/7 satellite intelligence support. P.S. Including modernized Apache and leaving out modernized MI35 don't make entirely precise top
