    Thank you so much for this video. I recently have been grief-stricken with hair thinning and summed it up to years of poor eating/inadequate protein. There are a million videos about hair thinning and I've watched so many of them, desperately. Honestly your video here has been one of the most helpful to me. I appreciate everything you shared and the fact that you support a more natural approach.

    Thank you for addressing the hair washing guide. I workout and sweat everyday. My scalp is itchy and Im losing hair. I do eat WFPB and I do see growth as well, but Im now going to start washing my hair every other day instead of twice a week. I feel that may help as well as using your hair serum. Thank you for this video. Also have your cookbook and LOVE IT. So many great recipes!!!

    Kiki -- love your channel and calm vibe! I have found super helpful info on hair from Katherine sewing and Little house on the mountain: rhassoul clay wash, apple cider vinegar rice water rinse to condition and detangle, etc..... I haven't used traditional shampoo/conditioner since Easter, and my hair is growing faster, thicker and stronger. I like the natural products because it's better for the environment, my pocket book, and my health!

    This was great! I recently noticed my hair thinning again, and I’m not quite sure what I’m doing or not doing that’s causing it… I’ve been going back-and-forth on my hair health journey for about 10 years now. I’ve been a hairdresser for over 25 years. i’m definitely not new to this stuff! But changes in our lives could cause changes in our hair and skin, so it’s definitely nice to get a reminder and your suggestions on these products and supplements. Thanks!:l

    When I first started the Complement supplements, I was not consistent (I'm terrible at taking pills). So, I didn't notice any improvement in my hair and nails. Then, I decided to treat myself better, and started taking them every day, without fail, PLUS cleaning up my WFPB diet. Finally, I started to see changes, albeit small at first. I started getting new hair growth all around my hairline. - I was developing bangs without having cut my bangs. That's how much new growth I was seeing at my hairline. Then, unexpectedly, I noticed my nails; which were always weak and ridged - they always broke easily- they started to improve. I wasn't getting the peeling, the breaks, the jagged edges. I could only attribute it to two things - eating a more wholesome diet, and the supplements. Now I'm adamant about not missing a day. (I'm gonna try that soap bar for my hair. Sounds like it has a nice fragrance.)

    • @kefirheals7383
      @kefirheals7383 Рік тому +7

      @@VeganSinnerVeganSaint I started to notice new hair growth after about 6 months. I didn't see it sooner because hair grows slowly, 1/2 inch per month. You know how it is sometimes, first you don't notice a thing, cuz you aren't paying attention - then all of the sudden you go, 'hey, what's this?" OMG, it's new hair around my hairline. That's how it was for me.

    My hair has been thinning so bad for the past year. I also dreaded haircuts thinking it was gonna make it worse but supposedly its starting to grow back when I went to get it cut recently. I tried all kinds of products which didn't seem to show any type of results or had bad ingredients in them. I also was trying to do the bo wash or every other day thinking it would help but didn't realize it was making it worse nd my hair gets oily so quick so it made my thinning hair looks gross. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video, it's so informative! After watching, I have a few questions:
    1. What do you use for hair conditioner, especially with the stripping shampoo? If you don't personally need one, then what do you recommend?
    2. Is there a shower filter you use?
    3. Do you take biotin on top of the multi-vitamin shown? (I realize it doesn't have it in it, and I think in previous hair growth videos you mentioned taking biotin... is this still something you recommend? And is biotin something you think also attributed to the start of your hair growth?)
    4. Do you track how much protein you consume? If so, how much do you aim for?

    Hi Kiki~I'm one of your senior viewers suffering from hair loss. I also have Hashimoto's. I started taking Complement a few weeks ago, although there are no ingredients in them known to assist with hair loss, to my knowledge. It will be interesting to see if they work!

    Hi. I've been using doTERRA on my scalp 5 days a week for 2 yrs and have not noticed any difference in the thinness on the top of my scalp. I even use a scalp massager for a few mins after applying rosemary. Diet is beyond good and I eat about 90g of protein a day. Sometimes more. I'm hesitant to try this vitamin bc Idk if it will be a waste of money but maybe I should. What are your thoughts about the oil and the vitamin? Thanks so much

    My hair started thinning a year into my vegan journey. But I think I figured out the right nutritional balance and hair care. Thanks to my fellow wavy girls on youtube! I'd love to try those supplements, but that is a lot of B-12 to take daily. My system is hyper sensitive to B-12 and it causes painful cystic acne. For me it comes down to a balanced diet.

    Do you use a conditioner? I have naturally wavy (read: READY TO TANGLE) hair and I have to have a conditioner. I'm almost out of both so I'm heading to the WF for the shampoo part but...?
