- A recent report from China Merchants Bank and Bain & Company found that among 20,000 wealthy Chinese individuals with investable assets over 100 million yuan, 27% have already emigrated. Another 47% are considering it.
The fact that 74% of the super-rich have emigrated is truly astonishing. It’s a world record that even Russia or the unstable Middle East can't compete with.

Nah, Chinese are smart and they know how to do business. In fact, many Chinese scientists are behind how USA developed fast in WWII. Their elite class migration is a very welcoming thing for every country.

The authority stated that it has been obvious for years that this visa is not delivering what our country and economy needs. The UK also did away with their version of the Golden visa 2 yrs ago for similar reasons. Many laundered their ill gained money there. Think about, if someone is very rich from mainland, they likely have gained their wealth through corruption and shady dealings. Not the typical legitimate entrepreneur. Greece with a weak economy and far from their first destination choice would not fare any better. They would rather invest elsewhere and later move.
