In one of the reviews I watched for the track mix. The sound of the actuator moving the camera around was super loud and annoying. I wonder if they UV camera is the same or if the operation is much quieter in real life
I will admit that seeing the phrase 'dual camera' I was expecting 2 devices in the box. If the phrase had been 'dual lens' then it would have been clearer. I recall you answered a recent question from me regarding video storage, but I will ask for this one as well: Where does the video get stored if I don't have any of their products at the moment? Would I need to buy their hub or is there a micro SD card in the camera body?

It all depends on the item, some have internal storage and some have SD slots. If you're looking to get a system, I'd recommend the home base as it has an internal hard drive where you can store all your video. I hope this helps. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
Wonder if this would be good on a camper, since drilling holes in the side of an RV is not a good habit to get into.

When the camera tracks a subject across its entire pan range, does it return to its original default position after? Or does it stay aimed wherever the subject left the field of view?

Yes, in order to ensure the video is saved, you will need to pair it with the home base 3 (with hard drive). It does have an internal 8 gb storage but doesn't always record the video. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 🙂 👍
