You should visit areas like Bahria Town, Bahria Enclave. Also when you are in Islamabad must visit Lok Virsa it also has a museum, it’s near to Pakistan Monument which also has a very interesting history museum

So nice and funny to see Scottish mother and daughter in pakistan. We were there in early August from Manchester. The monal taxi fare, we had same problem it's seems the indrive fare doesn't take account of the incline extra petrol costs to monal that's why they always charge extra.

There are many nice & fancy restaurants I would totally listen to your friends recommendations. When I visit from USA I avoid all the juices from the stalls & anything from open air. I’d recommend places but you’re leaving in 4 hours so.
