Follow these steps exactly, as crossing the cables the wrong way could lead to quick a shock for the cars electronics or worse, yourself!
STEP 1:
Positive (red) cable to positive (also red) dead car terminal
STEP 2:
Other positive (red) cable to positive (also red) donor car terminal
STEP 3:
Negative (black) cable to the negative (also black) donor car terminal
STEP 4:
Other negative (black) to a metal ground (chassis, engine block etc) on dead car
STEP 5:
Start the donor car and rev the engine a few times for more power.
STEP 6:
Attempt to start the dead car. If it doesn’t start, may need some more revs or time for more current to arrive into the battery.
STEP 7:
Remove the cable in the reverse to the order you put them on
