I work at Foxwoods Resort Casino and have played both the south and north course. You will not be dissapointed!! Beautifully manicured course, challenging holes, and breathtaking scenery.
Near my home state of Little Rhody! You neeeed to check out Connecticut National as well! Its my favorite public access course around! Immaculate and the layout is sooo fun!
9:58....wow Zac... another ball JJJJUUUSSSTTTTTT shy of OB. It's incredible how much luck you have with avoiding taking a drop. It's like you throw another ball down or something. INCREDIBLE MAN!
I've played this course a handful of times. It is beautiful, especially in the fall with the lakes and the trees. I always struggle there, interested to see how Zac fares.
Good stuff. Perfect weather, too. One question, what's the point of stepping on the divot if you're not replacing the chunk you sent flying? I was taught and was under the impression the jig was to walk up, pick up the divot, return it to its spot, and then step on it to even it out with the surrounding grass. Unless of course it's not findable but looks like all yours were right there in the open. Just a thought, cheers mate.
Love the channel :) Great course , well played as well :) . I’m curious about something, after your approach shots I see you consistently take a nice divot and the beaver goes flying , ( jealous ) but after the ball flight you just step on your divot. Do you replace the tail into the divot ? Or adding divot mix ? I assume this is edited out if so Cheers :)
So awesome to hear you enjoy the channel! I am stepping down so the ground is level and not torn up then I pour sand or divot mix into the divot. I leave me filling it in once every once in a while but that all gets cut out.
Connecticut national is my fave course, that is accessible to the public, but i still havent played here somehow, deff soon! I live in RI and that course is always immaculate and the layout and design is a blast!
@@itsnotberto CT Nat used to be insanely cheap too for what you get and its gone up and up just like everywhere else. But still competitive and better course than others for the money. Its 30 mins from me…deff getting to lake of isles soon. Im going on a golf trip first week of october to St George utah for a week. Gonna be epic out there
Welcome to my hometown! Well sort of, the golf course is in North Stonington, the casino is in Ledyard. Worked there for a summer a few years ago, hope you got a chance to check out the range and practice facility. The North Course is the better of the two, in my opinion, but the South is also a great track.
Going back a few years, LOI was totally mint. Recently (since covid I'd guess), it seems like maintenance has gotten a bit spotty, both on the course and in the clubhouse. I assume it's because it gets so much play and a lot of newer golfers aren't repairing divots/pitch marks/respecting the facilities. Layout is very interesting though. Kind of like an amusement park-style of golf. It certainly relies heavily on visual drama vs more classic golf course architecture. Still one of the best public courses in CT.
@@ZacRadford We are the best lefties on UA-cam. Would be a good match! Catch a vols game, play some golf. Would love to make it happen! We are on the push for 5k subs
While you’re in CT go play ct national! Cheaper and better course! Lake is a beautiful course but it’s expensive and gets a ton of play so if you’re not an early tee time your putting through a dozen cleat marks every hole
@@ZacRadford I know several members at Lake. I can probably get you hooked up to play the private South Course. I'm a member at a different private course in Stonington, CT, so I can definitely have you as a guest. Not a big name course, but if you need a place to tune your game, I'm sure you'll like it.

Had an incredible time!
This is right up there with your ko'olau video, RIP to that course
I had no idea that course was only a few hours from me. Truly epic!!
Highly recommend it!
you excavated several new lakes for the resort with those shots.
Definitely takin some divots 😂

I'm in MA and we play CT National 4-5 times a year. Definitely a great course.
I’ve played this course a half dozen times and the south course too! Love them both!
Thanks for video im Playing there this Wednesday. Really looking forward to it
I played here a couple years ago!! Loved it! Best course I've played!
Such a great track!
Played here in June, was absolutely gorgeous and a blast!!!
Such a fun track!!
Good fishing in the water just off the course too
Great round Zac! Looks like a beautiful course.
Much love 👊
Beautiful course! Played this last year in April. Did they change the 9s? I remember that tough par 3 being the 2nd hole
I believe they did re route it
Changed middle of 2024. Old 1-4 is now 10-13. Old 10-13 is now 1-4.

looking forward you golfing in Alaska.

Clearly you did, I didnt get to that part of the video!
It’s a unique course for the area. Long travel between holes and very ungulated. Not one flat spot out there. Great New England course.

This might be where I play my first round of golf in the state of Connecticut. It's the last state with Atlantic coastline I haven't played in.
Love to hear it!
For Massachusetts either gotta play crumpin and fox in bernadston or the ranch in Westfield. The ranch is a wild track. Not many like it
No way you were in CT!!! Lake of Isles is amazing. You need to get to Richter Park in Danbury too. That course is beautiful and challenging.
I made the trip to Richter a few years ago, thats a very fun track!
One of my favorite courses to play with my dad on his birthday (veterans day). Hope you hit up the casino too haha
