Amazing video as always Colin! Super appreciate how clear you made it on how to get the most out of these templates. Oh also thanks for the shout out! 😉🙏
Thanks, this is very useful. I struggled with save as too. Some of the built-in templates look good for starting points as I'm trying to do more reels, etc. And then for the longer form things I can make my own with logos, titles, etc.
Premier Pro, Indesign and After Effects are ASSET LINKED applications by default - it's only the elements you create within them, shapes, lines, text boxes and placeholders, that live within each document. Thanks for this info, will save a lot of time Packaging / Collecting / Exporting / Duplicating and stripping out unneeded elements.
wow excited. I've been doing the "save-as" thing forever. Gave up on trying to store common media in Adobe Cloud. (Adobe: "Save-All" means save Everything)
Adobe needs to change the labels to match windows default. if a "bin" is a folder then call it and link it to folders. they shouldnt waste time confusing users or they will move to 3rd party platforms.
Ok, if I am to assemble my special little assets into my special Template. I need to Edit a Template. All I see is use their Templates, or add a new one, but it insists on making a Project. If i want to see the changes In the Template, I have to open the project again. Its just like before. Where is the Template Editor? [Wait--I see it now: File - Save as Template..No that does not work. Meanwhile, if you can see the common "Templates Folder", why aren't the Adobe templates in there? Social Media, Broadcast, etc.? Someday this will save me a Ton of time!

Thanks great tutorial
Great review Colin - nice overview of very common uses for a project template - especially with deliveries for socials. Thx!

Ah, problem, Adobe put the Adobe>Common>Assets>Project Templates in my C drive. Have to change that. Why does Every program want to HOG C?

I think the templates are available on Premiere Pro 2024 only. m on 2023
Colin is a coffee guy
I was looking all over for the Templates drop down then at 6:45 I found it appears when choosing 'new project'
