These videos enrich our classroom learning experience and provide my students with a robust depth of knowledge. Thank you both for what you are contributing to Medical Education.
I am here to say a Big thank you for your videos. You can not imagine how excellent your video and classes and you have helped me understand homeostasis. I got one exam tomorrow and I am very confident because I finally understood it.
You are a great teacher. Watched this video 5 mins before my exam which I didn't prepare for. Luckily a question from this topic came and I explained it the way you did. The teacher was very impressed and I passed(just). Thanks alot! Keep up the good work!
You are the best teacher in biochemistry.l always watch your videos when l face difficulties to explain my students in biochemistry.Your shortcut explanations are very nice for me.Thank you very much Dr.
Wanted to jump on and say thank you!!! 12 hours over the past week of trying to understand Homeostasis and although I kind of got the jist, watching your video has given me so much knowledge and understanding. These fantastic examples are very easy to follow as a student new to the human body.
Seems like this is high school stuff, right, but at 45 I find this fascinating. Like I forgot my body is doing this all the time. I've been studying the brain lately and this helps my understanding simplified! Your a great, exciting teacher!
I love you man. I'm a high school teacher from Zanzibar- Tanzania (East Africa) ...your video are helpful and what I like most is you are straight forward in explaining concept..I'm saying again I LOVE YOU AND I LIKE WHAT YOU DO FOR US!!!!❤
Thank you so much for this video; it made me understand homeostasis. Not one teacher has made me know but thanks to your fantastic way of describing it I have the grip of homeostasis. thank you, I literally could not be more grateful.
This is a fantastic explanation, easy to understand terms and language. Finally, now, I have a firm understanding of negative and positive feedback. (I watched only one vid and subscribed straight away)
You're a darling. I've been reading this with difficulty understanding and in 15 minutes, I understand the process now. God bless you Dr. Keep up the good work. Hopefully too, I could get some video on how complete respiration takes place ❤
I swear you're the best professor in the world. I wish i known your channel when i was in 9 and 10 grade because my biology concepts were so terrible and i really struggled in biology because of my teachers. But now i am in 2nd year of my college (last year) and i found your channel by studying the first chapter Respiration from your videos and now i am on second chapter Homoeostasis and you literally taught me so well and cleared my concepts. I literally remembered the first chapter on my finger tips. Thank you so much ❤ i swear we need more people like you who teaches in more simpler and easier way rather than repeating the textbook definitions. Hats off to you!! ❤️👏💗
Hi Dr Mike. I teach A&P too and wonder if our historical teaching of positive feedback as being "homeostasis" might need a rethink. Childbirth isn't return to a similar state, blood clotting stops bleeding and sort of is. I'm still chewing on this. What do you think?
Hey...thanks so much..this was very helpful..I didn't understand anything in class and this video was the very exact thing I needed.. thanks so much...I'll subscribe right now...thanks again .🙌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Great for the rest of you! My blood ferritin is above normal and all my blood cell counts below normal. I feel fine in bright weather and dull in cloudy weather. So, what is homeostasis for me??
Is Homeostasis factory set for earths gravity? Astronaut's on the space station in zero G lose bone and soft tissue density. Are the mechanorecptors the primary loop for bone and muscle density loss in zero G. Are the Mechanorecptors subdivided into different categorizes bone, fascia, muscle ?
What about if a person experiences stress over time and their blood glucoses rise. The cells will modify some of their insulin receptors to control how much glucose they uptake. This is called insulin resistance. Shouldn't that be considered a homeostatic reflex?
God bless the womb that bore you. You're such a hugggggeee blessing to man kind. I love you Dr Mike.
One of the best teachers around the world..what a man 💝
Indeed

It's really nice to see ur class .I like the way you r explaining I'm from India 💞
Clear thanks. Negative feedback, like a thermostat, positive feedback is like a snowball effect. Both big parts of systems thinking.
