I mean yeah but they still broke the law at the time. And even though some of them are in just for weed a lot sold or bought other illegal drugs that are definitely not legal now. Depending on the industry, I think its not necessarily the idea of how a person becomes intoxicated, but if they are willing to do illegal things for personal desire. If you're willing to go to jail for a high, you may be willing to steal from the register to get the high type idea. principles.

I would say that people are actually less likely to consume a substance once it becomes legalized. I think this is partially because of what the person above said, but also because people will begin to have more information on the effects of the substance. For example, if a drug is illegal, people are less informed about what it does. All they know is that it is illegal. Whereas, if a drug is legal, people know more about it. The public is more educated. I don't think this is necessarily the case for weed, but it is for most other drugs.

@🔥Feed the Fire🔥 Marijuana is one of the safest recreational drugs out there, and thats a fact. Very very rare if not ever will someone show life threatening problems because of it. But roughly 2 Million [Give or take] people die a year due to alcohol. You decide which one is worse
I'd rather hire someone who smokes Marijuana to get high every day than someone who drinks to get drunk everyday. The person who drinks will be hungover, slow and basically non prroductive. They will have many health issues and probably not last long at the job. The Marijuana smoker will have no hangovers and will most likely be more healthy even if they have some sort of disability or mobility issue. They definitely eat better than an alcoholic. They mostly likely will select a job they are happy with. They may even be more creative and productive because they want to be there . Marijuana smokers are generally happy people especially if they are in a workplace that accepts their lifestyle. Most times people can't even tell when someone has been smoking Marijuana but the smell is usually a tip off. The above is based on my own experience in supervision of staff up to seven employees. If I knew a staff member was a smoker then my only issue and rule was they do not drive or operate heavy machinery. I knew several of our staff had pain related health issues. I left it up to them to be honest and they were. They were on time to work and rarely missed days. I notice also that at lunch time there was fun socializing and sharing of food which help the team bond. The drinkers, on the other hand, we're not as friendly with other staff and never ate lunches. They always seemed in crisis mode. They missed more days and had more social and family issues outside of the workplace. These are my observations of over 10 years of being a supervisor.

The more frequently you partake, the less it affects you. I've been a cannabis patient in California for many years now. Going from opioids to management of endocannabinoids was the best thing I ever did for myself. I no longer messing with my opioid receptors and now only the cannabinoid receptors. Moving away from cannabis use is not a serious withdrawal. It's the same as using sugar, coffee, or tea daily and somebody taking it away from you.. Yes it does cause a craving because you're endocannabinoid system recesses because you are inducing the cannabinoids. It's kind of like taking over your breathing to control it consciously rather than subconsciously. The cravings go away once your body starts producing endocannabinoids on it's own.

Same with all drugs. The only reason for prohibition is to keep the industrial prison slave labor complex running. It would be hilarious if our political "leaders" were all forced to take regular drug tests. The WOD is a war on poor people. If you're wealthy? You can do any drugs you please. Plus illegality is what enriches the cartels. Cut their feet off. Were drugs taxed and regulated? There wouldn't be the money in it to justify the territorial violence. But it was never about saving peoples lives or anyone's health.

I've been for marijuana legalization since I first smoked it in 1977. That said, pot is a 'psychedelic', and from a psychological/emotional and epidemiological point of view, not comparable to any non-psychedelic (like alcohol), though there is some overlap. Since in the 1980s-2000s, I've asked at least 70 then-current or ex pot smokers the same 10 or so questions about their experiences with pot, this is what I found: 60% of them who had got high more than 3 days in a row ALL said when they quit smoking after 3 days of getting high that they had literal "physical" withdrawal symptoms like excessive-sweating, exaggerated-physical-irritability or restlessness/sleeping-problems (i.e. far beyond mere 'psychological' reasons due to emotional depression) [Note: statistically pot smokers are pre-disposed to have a slight or moderate above average IQ and ability for critical-thinking, are more empathetic and are more prone to depression, than the average person]. 15% said that smoking pot noticeably reduced or interfered with their intuitive senses (and/or 'spirituality'); 50% said they sometimes got paranoid or partly-depressed while under the influence (25% said they got paranoid or partly-depressed half the time or "frequently" and half of said 25% said they, more often than not, drunk alcohol or did stronger drugs to help counteract the paranoia/"edge"); 30% said that even the day after smoking pot it was detrimental or problematic to one or two or more of the following: studying, reading, concentrating, memory, work tasks, socialization, physical activity; 20% had physical allergic reactions to smoking, but the symptoms were manageable or undetrimental and most were not aware they were allergic until I pointed out possible symptoms off 'smoking allergy' to "pot allergy' (note: 23% of tobacco smokers have a mild to moderate+ physical allergic reaction to the act of smoking tobacco, but it's rarely a major problem for them (most people don't realize they are partly allergic to smoking anything - e.g. a frequent allergic reaction being clogged sinuses and stingy eyes, plus the added addictive nature of nicotine and other additives precludes their relatively down-list concerns about any allergy); 40% of people said they smoked pot to uplift their low spirits or depressed emotions as opposed to boosting their already "good mood or good emotional condition"; 25% said they smoked pot to counteract loneliness or perceived lack of sociability or to mask/reduce anger.

Recreational cannabis use was legalized in Canada in 2018 and, contrary to fear mongering Conservatives, society did not crumble. Now people can make informed decisions about what they buy; strains, CBD/THC content, flower vs. concentrates, smokable vs. edible. People can walk into a store and know they are buying safe product from reputable sellers.
I don't know if I trust the stores too much. Got my bud who grows right from the soil! Sometimes in medical marijuana people said they have done studies and found chemicals inside medical marijuana.
It’s too soon to tell but weed psychosis exists and THC levels are too high. To say there won’t be psychological problems with society from weed use is irresponsible.

I've smoked weed for nearly half my life. Just turned 51, got my CDL to drive trucks and now I'm an alcoholic.
Just submitted my application to this company, wish me luck guys, because baaaaabbby, this is a vibe 🌬 🌿
Good luck!
Hope u get the job lol

In youth weed mellowed my wild impulsiveness, and made me hungry. Now it just makes me sleepy, and hungry.
It also increases the likelihood for schizophrenia

How can this drug be good when most users end up losing their minds? I smoked for 7 years and stopped. I realized I could not sleep or eat or concentrate without it. It is bad for you guys.

Great work
Well I have a mass spectrometer and multiple phds at my disposal that disagree with plenty you said. When I say phds I mean I literally have doctors who work on my farm, not that I personally have multiple phds.
A great concept would be to hire people that have done time behind bars for weed
You have a great idea here, but would they smoke the profits???

Cigs are legal, doesn't mean you should smoke. Lottery tickets are legal, doesn't mean you should gamble. Government just want to control and tax you.
I totally agree with you! We'll said....this is a disgrace
Wanting to control me is telling me what I can or cannot consume. What is a disgrace is people who proclaim they care about freedom...then want control of what other people do with their bodies. You don't have to like it. Just stop being Karens.
@@dorksplorer There is illusion of choices. Like buying cereal, when you are really just buying from the same corporation serving you corn in a different form. There is direct and indirect forms of control.
People can take hydrocodone at the workplace if prescribed …. Does that mean they are high on opiates …. Technically yes …. So why is this differ than cannabis
At my Healthcare job, during the morning meeting, our coworker (Becky)announced to the room "I'm so high on Percocet right now." She said this in front of the DON and Administrator and she was not fired. All prisoners who were convicted for committing non violent weed offences MUST be released immediately
Lol like Canada is an example of a high achieving country. 🤣😂😍
I don't know if I trust the stores too much. Got my bud who grows right from the soil! Sometimes in medical marijuana people said they have done studies and found chemicals inside medical marijuana.
Most of the conservatives I know had no issue at all with marijuana. Sorry that was true in your little bubble.
It’s too soon to tell but weed psychosis exists and THC levels are too high.
To say there won’t be psychological problems with society from weed use is irresponsible.
Except Canada is crumbling you are just too high to notice! Haha
Still technically illegal since its federally illegal, stupid laws.
Release all people for charges of cannabis as the USA just look even more hypocritical otherwise.
In Utah (2021), you get 6 months jail time for having any weed on you. That is, if you don’t have money for bail, etc. Think about that.
In California (2021) you can have 4lbs of marijuana, think about that :)
It's the Mormon influence on state politics.
@@Arperture they do have the state that they want. People are always welcome to move out, and into California.
That's freaking harsh and excessive!
Thank you for not saying “Let that sink in”
They should never legalize it but only decriminalize it...
Why is that?
@@vinny_G_2003 Because its a dirty money game again and now its about cannabis in last decade. Better option is to simply let people grow 2-3 plants per person for ones who want to smoke. Just limit the ammount and ban all cannabis sales. But noo... corporations will make it go like tobacco and alcohol...
What’s happening?
1) people miss less work
2) less injuries (compared to opioids)
3) less hung over.
The sh*t isn’t changing for me. I’ll still go to jail or lose my career if caught with it or fail a drug test.

You don't have to pass a Urine test for Alcohol to get a job, even for a Job requiring a CDL to drive Semi Trucks... Though a hang over from the night before would be enough to get into a deadly accident and ticketed for a DUI... A few hours after smoking marijuana wouldn't cause any hang over or impact your driving skills yet these tests impact your ability to get thousands of jobs for a MONTH after using it...
It's time to set the record straight on this foolishness!!! Look at the devastation the DEA has done with their Drug Scheduling... Marijuana being set as a Class 1 Drug with no current medical use known and a high potential for abuse and/or addiction!!! While Fentanyl a deadly drug that shouldn't be used gets a Class 2 Scheduling legal in all 50 States... Both Alcohol and Tobacco are more dangerous being both more highly abused and addictive than Marijuana but still get a favorable nod from the DEA...
