- This old map helped us find a privy outhouse pit that was filled with some amazing antique bottles and other valuable collectables. We found many early pontil bottles with some even dating back to 200 years ago! Part 2 will be uploaded in the next week or so.

Threw that Townsend in the hole and it hit that rock and cracked. What a heart breaker !! Glued and displayed proudly.
Absolutely!!!
Here i am shayne and co., gave a like brothers.
Thanks man!
Shane,
Wonderful video!!! This pit so far has been a crier. So many bottles that could have been stunning. I like hearing the joy in your voices as you guys dig for that whole bottle and then the dissapointment when you turn the bottle over and the corner is missing. I hope you find whole bottles as you continue digging.
Thanks Debra! You'll have to see in part 2!
@@ParlorCityPickersDiggers I can't wait to see it, definitely looking forward to see it. Seems like Parlor City and Time Travelers are the pontil diggers.
@@debraporch7888 We try our best! Lately have been focusing on the oldest towns and houses we can find. We can dig 1890s-1900s stuff all day long, but trying to get the early stuff!
So neat to see the old stuff!
Not every day you can find them this old! Thanks for watching man
Legit Pit 😁, oldest/best one you've been in, now show us the whole ones! hoping ya get a few for all the cryers.
We managed to get some thankfully! You'll see when part 2 comes out in the next week or so. Man this pit was a fun one, but some total criers for sure!
Never get tied of watching you guys. Better luck next pit !
Thanks a bunch Mark! Wait for part 2
Coming over from FB. Awesome hole! I’ve gotten on 2 different Pontil holes this month without a solid bottle… ready for part 2 so I can live through y’all 😂
Thanks for watching man! It hurts seeing the good stuff broken!! Just a numbers game. Gotta keep on keeping on and dig as many pits as you can. Wish you luck on the next one!
Woww...thats what I call a honey hole!!!!😮😮😮..good job!!!...thanks for sharing😊😊
Was incredible digging this age! Thanks for watching!
Wow, killer pit fellas. A shame all those good ones had damage. Just digging them up is awesome anyway, thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks Steve! We managed to get a few in part 2 😎
I once dug a hole here in New Zealand with 7 Townsends . One was a beautiful dark teal which is a stunner but really I love them all and never get sick of digging them.
Jeez! I would've been happy with just this one LOL
Another coooool video boys , keep it coming 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks Julia!!
Awesome video dude, definitely the “heartbreaker” pit lol. Cant wait for part 2!
Thanks for watching!
Been waiting for this one. Cant wait to watch it❤
WOW!!... those bottles are older than the European history of my country (New Zealand)
We got some really early stuff out of this pit! The oldest one we have ever dug. Almost getting into the 1700s!
Man alive! What a bottle heartbreaker pit.
Man it really was. Still a great time and just awesome to be digging in that type of age. Doesn't happen every day! We get some more whole ones in part 2
Excellent. I will watch that. @@ParlorCityPickersDiggers
Ugh lots of good ones wish they would have been whole for yous, good luck hopefully you can pull some ones that aren't broke.
We get lucky in part 2!
You guys need a couple deer antler digging tools for fine work👍
Definitely something lol! We have tons of hand tools but always seem to forget them
@@ParlorCityPickersDiggers 👍😂
Broken by the dipping bucket gahhh…wish we had map holes that old out here lol
We couldn't believe the pit was THAT old still being on such a "new" Sanborn map. We think maybe the structure had been used as a storage shed of sorts after they got indoor plumbing, and it was no longer needed as an actual outhouse. Thanks for watching man!
Be sure to check out "part 2" when you finish this one. We manage to get some nice ones fully intact and/or with very miniscule damage. Was still the oldest and "best" pit we have dug to date!
very nice!
Thanks!
😊❤
Thanks for watching!
I dont feel so bad , the last privy i dug , not one whole bottle , and all the good ones broken
Thats how it goes sometimes!
Man you guys breaking all the bottles easy goes it...
We didn't break anything that wasn't already broken
Broken bottles sell for half price on the internet resales.
I wish! Some of the extremely rare and early bottles can still have value when broken, but no where near 50% of original cost. More like 10% or less
Saying Gods name in vain like that, I I was God I wouldn't give you any nice bottles either.
Good point 🤷♂️
